It’s not just the premium amount it’s how much insurance you are actually getting. (All told, what would a claim would a claim cost you? What exactly is covered?)

These details (deductibles, etc) make everyone’s insurance more complicated to compare.

I'm not in Louisiana but this got me thinking. I have no idea because I pay it in the same lump payment with auto, my rv, ATVs, etc. They take it out monthly and I don't even think about it.

Note to self: look into it tomorrow

Too many variables at play. House is $400k with $3200 yearly. $550 flood or something close to it. 1/2% and 2% storm.
