I mean… in a way… she’s not wrong: Twitter

The only downside: China wins if that happens. While regardless I think they’ll invade Taiwan by 2024, but it’s the official end of the American era and the beginning of the CCP Era. Good news is that China is now occupying the Graveyard of Empires, so hopefully Afghanistan blows up as much in their face as it has us, the Soviets, and the British.

China will get Taiwan anyway with this idiot in charge.

I just want to be able to actually have a government which follows the goddamn constitution, which is NOT what happens when blue states rule.

Absolutely nothing wrong with what she said, and most citizens would agree, but I don't think she understands how power works. It consolidates, it doesn't compromise.

Leftists want to rule the world, not make any reasonable observations about philosophical differences. To them, we are "wrong" and need to be ruled over and punished. Relentlessly.

You could say that It's like the Confederacy had the right idea.

Eventually this country was going to get too big to be one stable cohesive country with similar values.

We literally have entire regions with different ways of life, different cultures, different politics, and different demographics.

In what world is that supposed to be sustainable long term as a single country?

It’s sad that we’re becoming China. The thing is American and Chinese (not CCP) people actually get along. While Boomers and above hate us over there, Gen X and Millennial Chinese and Americans actually get along. We have complimentary cultures. We’re both loud, obnoxious, rude, and very affable assholes who just want big shite. The Chinese understand Manifest Destiny for instance. They like our culture, and we’ve always found their culture cool as well outside of their government. Really the only major difference is the collective vs freedom mentality… or at least it was. The only thing the Chinese population doesn’t like about our culture is that they think we’re constantly shooting at each other in the streets, and to be fair to them our news cycles and films do nothing to dissuade them from this reality. It’s about to get bad.

I’m certain Texas could lead a pack of states just fine but sooner or later the Liberal side would want the resources and productivity of the Conservative side. Thus we have a war. They would have California but that’s it really. All they are left with are cold, urban centers with no crops or mineral resources.
It’s not going to happen though. Neither side wants to be the new confederacy, we will keep fighting for control of the USA.

If this happens, Florida, not Texas, is definitely leading the charge.

If SF, LA, Chicago, and NYC all removed themselves from the US 90% of our problems will be solved.

Texas is almost 50% democrat.

The problem with national divorce is that the division is urban vs. rural, not state borders.

Texas has manufacturing, and resources.
Florida really doesn't.
DeSantis isn't enough to lead the charge.
If Alan West becomes governor, Texas could lead secession.

I'm all for it... but like, the guys pulling the strings behind the curtain will never abide. They won't be down with losing HALF of the American populace in terms of tax dollars or influence in the media.

They have full control of this experiment atm, and they're not interested in a happy or peaceful American life. They only care about power.

Why should I believe that after the past year and a half? I used to think what you think, I used to think the Chinese people would demand freedom and be free and embody us by 2035, but no. I falsely assumed storming the beaches of Normandy was humanity at its natural state, that sailing into new horizons not knowing whether we’d return was our natural state. Now I realize those are exceptions to the rule. Humanity is ruled by cowardice and greed. I hate typing that, but it’s true.
