It is Mcneese after a pretty brutal loss. I think a lack of enthusiasm is to be expected.

If attendance is embarrassing the next two weeks, do you see LSU reversing course on the covid stuff for the Auburn game? Woodward said it wasn’t a permanent decision.

LSU has done more to kill tailgating than put covid protocols in place but it certainly isn’t helping.

ETA playing an FCS team is a big F U to your fanbase imo

Losing the road opener the way they did didn’t help. Throw in a weak opponent and it’s a big mess.

Between yesterday and today we've had 5 emails from people at work trying to give away sets of tickets, even parking passes. You literally can't give away tickets to the games

I agree. Accept for the 2-3 big games a year, LSU has one of the deadest crowds in the SEC. Too many fans coming for reasons other than watching football and are gone at halftime. Many of the most passionate Tiger fans were priced out and just buy tickets for a couple games each year. Their are other reasons why crowds are not good, based on how society and technology has changed, but you can look at crowds around the country and realize that LSU has fallen way off. Watched that A&M crowd against Kent State and it was packed. This has been getting worse over a bunch of years, although I think there will be a bigger fall this year. Those of us that go back a little will tell you how fan involvement was at a whole other level, even in the games that weren’t big. Still no better place to be. as far as I’m concerned, and I’m not going to let anything steal those experiences.

Tailgating looks fairly normal in my area for a small school game. Campus usually picks up around 2:30 for these.

I thought South Carolina did the same as we did?

I’m out here and can agree. It’s the combination of
0-1, mcneese garbage game, Covid restriction and wokeness. I grew up in a family that brainwashed me to be at every LSU game. I have never seen it this dead on a opener home game.

That’s before winning spoiled us. LSU fan base has nothing in common with the fan base before 2000.

Looks like years of tailgating restrictions, overpriced parking far away from the stadium, LSU’s woke agenda and being totally out of touch with its fanbase, and LSU being the only SEC school implementing ridiculous covid protocols has finally taken its toll.

I gave up my tickets I had for 28 years this year. My reasons are on the political side. This will be my first season not to attend at least 4 home games since 1977 ( my parents had season tickets) regardless of bad the team is. The loss last week and playing McNeese this week has nothing to do with my not attending. I had said many time I would not return to a game after an ugly loss. I was always there the next week. I was at the Rose Bowl last week and enjoyed everything but the game. This time is purely LSU and their agenda.

Spoiled and entitled fanbase
LSU priced people out
LSU killed free for all tailgating atmosphere
Older die hard fans who don’t go anymore were replaced with their less passionate children

I remember when the fanbase was buzzing about an Independence Bowl invite. Now you have “fans” checking out after 1 loss.

I bought my season tickets in 97 when Kevin Faulk was here. Just gave this seasons ticket away to a vax’d sheep. Will not be getting vaxed or having my family tested with ethylene oxide cancer causing q tips
It is what it is

I haven’t missed a home game since 2002. We usually get out there about 7:30 and tailgate all day. We requested refund and we aren’t going until they get rid of these ridiculous requirements.
