I live off 621 near Duplessis primary. Haven’t seen a line worker or tree cutting crew in the area all week. Anyone in the know if there is critical infrastructure down (like a substation or main lines) or is it mostly street lines down that’s preventing the area from getting back up and running? Just looking for some information to give me a little hope.

Right here with ya buddy. I’m near JD Broussard. There were trucks out in the evening yesterday but there are still trees down babin rd I think. Entergy had an update last night that they were still trying to figure out how to get power back to our area.

Live by Sammys. We lost power for a total of 14hrs. Not a brag, just counting blessings.

DEMCO gets a 5star rating from me

Our home is now Grand central Station for friends and family looking for AC and a shower.

We’re at Old Perkins and Bluff. Looks like we’ve got Entergy crews setting up shop at that intersection this morning. We’re hopeful that today’s the day…

That is only on 431. Traffic lights at Gold Place and Stringer bridge were turned off because the arms were blown 90° out.

5 bucket trucks on Lake Martin Road yesterday. Hopefully this will be a good day for me.

Do you know anything about the smashed Coka cola 18 wheeler trailer sitting right in the middle of where the Entergy crews are now working? It seems to be twarting progress most hideously.

Some dumbass Coca Cola driver drive around the barricade and ran his 18-wheeler up under the sagging power lines on Old Perkins at Bluff. Peeled the top of the trailer back like a tin can.

So now, instead of being able to work on those lines, the Entergy crew is having to help untangle the mess that stupid mother fricker caused. The damn news is out there, for Pete’s sake.

I’m off of 74 by Sno’s. Coontrap Road is mostly energized behind us, as is 74 for a section right in front of us. We still don’t have power.

I did notice a pole snapped in half a little ways down 74 towards Dutchtown, so that may be the issue. I also read Coontrap had a bunch of trees down as well.

I'm on 621 by Lakeway. I see that they reattached some dangling lines at some point last night so that gives me hope. 73/621 intersection has power so hopefully we're fed from there and it's just a matter of clearing 621/Landry before turning us on.

From my HOA group this morning:
Thanks to the idiots who removed the barricades out of the way on Perkins at Bluff Road, this is the outcome. Hopefully it doesn’t delay our restoration!
