I’m at my parents house in woodland ridge with the wife and dogs.
Big ole house with no trees and we have food/water/booze if anyone needs to get out of a bad situation
this is going to get hairy but I feel like we will be in relative safety

Just got back from Bham last night around 0100. Had family business there. Ridin out in Zachary.
Traffic going NE on I20/59 was heavy and constant. Passed Meridian I59 split and that was where all the traffic was coming from. I was surprised that there was no traffic going north on I55.
Rest assured the tree cutters, linemen, and support services are already staged as we saw many of them heading in. Lots of power and tree trucks from Indiana and Ohio.

Gonzales off of 30, new neighborhood so not really any trees to worry about. I do have a small wooded area behind my house but those trees are pretty small and I think are far enough off the back of my house
