While the US military writ-large has a far-right extremism problem, mounting evidence suggests the Marine Corps has a serious neo-Nazi problem (and it isn’t new). This is the jackass that published this disgusting (and stupid and poorly researched) article on the day that 10 Marines, 2 soldiers, and 1 Navy Corpsman were killed.

Out of all the Marines I served with in various locations, I never met one either.
I also never met one in the Army.

Oddly enough, now that I think about it, the racism was mostly between blacks and Latinos. I remember gate 2 street Okinawa was off- limits for quite some time back in '95 due to a riot between the 2.

As for the substance, I have no idea. For a long time, I dismissed any of these claims because my circle of people didn’t have the problem. I have to say, though, I have seen and hard things in this direction that I never used to hear. I think it’s been provoked to a large degree, but I can no longer deny that there are people out there like this who are getting more brazen in saying it.
