They'll probably still be running the speed trap through Golden Meadow.

My adrenaline is through the roof right now. Staying out my folks in Gray. Just yelled at them to put their shoes on and pack a bag in case we have to run to a neighbors house. shite is about to get ugly. 1130 I think they said is when the winds really get bad. Packed bandaids, Ibuprofen, and cat food. Can’t lose the cat.

Is that the one that had to bail out of his truck and the camera streamed it floating away?

Vaccine papers and masks were of greater concern and no thought about the real danger coming into your city.

I thought flipping my trampoline over would be good enough for Laura. Nope. Came home and it wasn’t in my yard. Asked all around my neighborhood so I could help move it from whoever’s yard it landed in. No luck. Never did find that trampoline.

We have one. I tied it to the fence, but I hope it blows far far away

144 kt winds at 750ish feet, I am just glad Ida is running out of real estate.

I had a feeling it would get bad when I saw that huge patch of hot water it was going to pass over, but I didn’t think it would have enough time to get this bad.

I can only hope since it intensified so late in the game maybe it won’t be pushing the same storm surge it might’ve otherwise.

Unfortunately even looking at the beach cams in the panhandle, there seems to be a lot of water coming onshore.

Not good.

Anyone own property in Grande Isle?

Are used to really really want to, but every time I go down and rent a camp, there is some guy next-door who is always having to work fixing up his camp. Looks like way too much work. Renting a camp there is pretty expensive, but I don’t wanna have to go through all the hassle of every time a storm gets in the golf, having to go down there and drag shite out, and then go back and fix everything.
