Please be careful about Koeppel and what he says. The truth is much different. I know the principal at Fountainebleau and have known him for 25 years. It was not about Brainpop or CRT . It was however due to gross insubordination....mainly yelling at the principal and telling him to frick off . He insulted the Super to his face.

He should appeal to the school board... he will get his job back. The same school board that just asked that mask mandate be removed.
Having said that... most employers aren't too kind when you go on social media and "travel the country" talking bad about your employer.

it seems to me he was more likely fired because he went on a public speaking tour talking shite about his employer

You can certainly start a conversation, but it is hard when you act like an a-hole...and make no mistake Koeppel is an a-hole. The kids at Fountainebleau say it and the teachers AND coaches say it.

Kinda looking like that to me too. But always must wait on more facts and info. If it is legitimately just about fighting CRT then I’d give him a pass for ruffling feathers.
