According to a joint study conducted by Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh

quote:

Researchers analyzed more than 5 million respondents of a survey that gauged acceptance of vaccine. It consisted of a wide range of demographics, with researchers classifying people who would “probably” or “definitely” not get vaccinated as “vaccine hesitant.”

Per the study, people who possess a Ph.D. are the least likely to receive a vaccine.
quote:

“What’s more, the paper found that in the first five months of 2021, the largest decrease in hesitancy was among the least educated — those with a high school education or less. Meanwhile, hesitancy held constant in the most educated group; by May, those with Ph.Ds were the most hesitant group.”

What's your PhD in, baw?

Also, PhD doesn't necessarily mean shite as most of the ones issued are phds in the soft sciences and liberal arts that don't mean anything.

Seems to me those who are a little educated, but think they’re a very smart are actually dumber than both the highly educated, smart people and the “dumb” uneducated people.

Edited to attempt to decrease confusion.

Did you not read the OP? Two major universities ran the study and it included 5 million people.

Because I fall in one of the groups that lacks hesitancy and I was 1st in line for the vaccine. I think everyone should be vaccinated but what if the smart money has it right and I have it wrong? In that case I am fricked. So a chart showing multitudes of people who are smarter than me doing the opposite of what I did doesn't make me very confident in my decision.

12th post about the vaccine today. Why is it anyone’s business if someone does or doesn’t get the vaccine? It’s a personal choice. Move on to something else.

This has been talked about before the study didn't really conclude what it appears they are suggesting.

Most of the headlines and articles it spawned are misleading. Take the time to read the study and you will have a better understanding of what it is actually saying.

You're not wrong. They're not wrong. All it means is that choice is key, and mandates are not warranted.
