Yeah, she's real catalyst for peace and harmony.
quote:
Dr. Chanequa Walker-Barnes is a theologian and psychologist whose mission is to serve as a catalyst for healing, justice, and reconciliation in the Christian church and beyond. She utilizes an interdisciplinary approach in her teaching and research, drawing upon pastoral theology, womanist/feminist theology, cultural studies, and the social sciences. Her current interests include racial and gender issues in pastoral care, clergy self-care, Christian spirituality, and reconciliation. In her first book, Too Heavy a Yoke: Black Women and the Burden of Strength (Cascade Books, 2014), Dr. Walker-Barnes seeks to heighten awareness about the inordinate burden that the icon of the StrongBlackWoman places upon women of African descent and to provide a framework for liberative pastoral care with African American women.
Her second project will focus upon racial reconciliation. Her articles have been featured in a wide variety of publications, including the Journal of Pastoral Theology, the Journal of Child and Family Studies, Horizons: The Magazine for Presbyterian Women, and Geez. Dr. Walker-Barnes is a recipient of the Louisville Institute First Book Grant for Minority Scholars.
Prior to joining the faculty at McAfee, she taught at Shaw University Divinity School in Raleigh, N.C., the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and the University of Florida. Born and raised in Atlanta, Dr. Walker-Barnes received her bachelor's degree in psychology and African-American/African studies from Emory University (1994), master's (1996), doctorate (2000) in clinical psychology from the University of Miami, and master of divinity from Duke University (2007). She is an ordained elder in the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church.

American academia is a joke to be looked down upon with shame.

My reply, How traumatic was your childhood with a name like Chanequa?

White people actually might become a problem though if these loudmouth fricktards keep pushing their bullshite.
I fear it's coming.
Only in certain areas if I had to guess. White people and black people get along just fine in most of the country, and most of them think this shite is just as silly as you think it is. Now would I want to be in Atlanta or LA if something sparks off? Hell no. Huntsville or Augusta? No worries.

Yeah, that is pretty refreshing. It's almost hard to imagine a world where you could have a real debate on an issue without it nearly coming to blows simply for having a differing opinion.
Yep, guy actually ended up writing me a rec for law school. Hate his politics, but much respect for how he conducted himself

I wonder how it feels to them to be a racist cünt? Worthless fricking college professor who is probably a fricking moron in everyday life. Those who can’t do, teach.

I’m not a problem.
So it feels pretty great.
Every morning I get up and look in the mirror and say “Thank god my dad stayed with my mom. And thank God I’m the same color as the people who wrote the Iliad and painted Mona Lisa.”

Same here Bro! Liberalism is a sickness, and my sons (like myself) can see right through that nonsense.

You misunderstood my post. My point was how little degrees from Emory, Miami and Duke are.

During her presentation on “pathological whiteness” Dr. Chanequa Walker-Barnes asks “white people, how does it feel to be a problem?”
I would say, If I'm a problem, how do we describe people who have no issue having children without a spouse, without education, without skill or a decent job to care for their "problems"...?
