But...and here's the thing...if you've had a kid in school the past 20 years you know that one of the main goals has not been to help foster independent thinkers but to build followers. They spend more time enforcing meaningless rules to shape children into little drones that will follow orders than they do critical thinking. It's actually asking a lot from today's kids to speak up in that environment, especially if you are expecting them to not only argue with a teacher but to do so in a 180 degree opposite direction than the current socially acceptable direction.
I actually had a refreshing experience in college with a liberal professor (who I actually really like). It was a persuasive writing class, so naturally the class consisted of writing a bunch of papers on relevant societal issues at the time. Each week we'd generally write a 3-4 page essay on a topic then spend class debating whatever topic was presented by the writer. I was one of maybe 2-3 conservative minded students out probably 20 or so in the class. I can't remember the specific topic but I vehemently disagreed with the professor because he was factually wrong about some of his counter-arguments, as in he was arguing based on incorrect data and I said something along the lines of "well, I respect your opinion but you're just wrong." Of course, people in the class had a bit of a gasp that I said that so bluntyly. I, being worried about my grade and not wanting to have a pissed of professor, met him in office hours to apologize for my delivery. He actually told me not to apologize. He said he wanted that type of dissenting discourse and that if everyone just agreed with everyone's position on the topic at hand then his course would be pointless. I always appreciated him for the way he handled that situation, even though many of his contemporaries wouldn't have. This was back around 2007 so I have no idea whether things would have taken that path had they happened now.

So Chanequa, how does it feel to be working AGAINST the entirety of the culture in which you find yourself and its modernity, invention, conveniences, and human potential?

You, with your high credit scores and your cars that start every time and your "first owner" clothes.....I don't want to be you. You are a problem.
No. I don't want any of that..nope. I feel sorry for YOU....really. I do...I....I....

Who? And why does any one care. We have to stop giving these people the attention they crave.

I won't even bother pointing out the blatant racism and hypocrisy.
White people actually might become a problem though if these loudmouth fricktards keep pushing their bullshite.
I fear it's coming.

White people in this country have become the German Jews of the 1930's. We will be the scapegoats for every problem in the non-white community. We'll eventually get to the point where calling for genocide against us won't even raise eyebrows.

Yeah, that is pretty refreshing. It's almost hard to imagine a world where you could have a real debate on an issue without it nearly coming to blows simply for having a differing opinion.

Imagine the mental gymnastics it takes to fight against prejudice of a skin color by being prejudiced against another skin color

There are a litany of problems with this whole situation, but the fact that this exists as an actual tenured college study highlights the problem
