and its not like he is the amazing shooter either. He is okay, maybe above average, but not elite by any stretch of the imagination.

are you kidding me.
He's easily a top 5 3 point shooter in the NBA. He's extremely active off the ball and has an extremely quick release, and he fricking makes them at 40%. He's been in the league for 5 years and has never shot under 39%, and he's taken nearly 3000 3's in those 5 years.
Yes he is absolutely elite.

I am not giving up any real asset to help out another team in the West get under the cap. Pay the tax or take some seconds. Let someone else help Utah, frick that.

We'd be helping ourselves. Unless they want unprotected firsts or NAW, Jax, etc.. I'd jump all over a trade for Bojan.

NAW/Bojan/BI/Zion/JV

Would be a major improvement over our starting 5 from last year. Have Graham as an elite 6th man and we'd be ready for a playoff run this year.

This free agency period has been hard on all of us. We’ve been through a few highs and lows this past week. I hope Griff would just sign anyone or trade for someone so we can move on.

Never should have traded Buddy away in the first place. He’s been exactly what this team has been missing since he was drafted.

Yes we should’ve never traded for an MVP caliber player! One who was on pace to be first team all nba his first and only season with us before the coaching staff ran him into the ground!

Keep an eye on this: Pelicans could try hard to expand the Memphis deal before it becomes official.

Buddy Hield is a name I’ve heard mentioned

It's scoopB, but he's already nailed the Mike D’Antoni and Jaron Collins to Pels before anyone else in the national media did.

We would definitely have added some legit shooting if we added Buddy. Defense would be absolute trash but we would score some fricking points.

I would seriously consider having Graham as the first guy off the bench.

NAW
Buddy
Ingram
Zion
Jonas

Graham as 6th man or when we need ball handling.

Still don’t understand the backup 4.

Does not sound like Jared Butler will be available for summer league. He is fully healthy, Justin Zanik says

This roster with Buddy would be insanely efficient on offense. It would be a blast to watch.

Defense would leave a lot to be desired but frick it, I'm fine winning games 135-134

exactly

and there would be nights where we just shot teams off the court

Jonas is going to look like such an underrated pick-up

and for rotations you can inject some of the defensive specialist guys off the bench with some of the starters. Could work

Don't forget that Mike D'Antoni tried to make things work in Houston without a legit center on the roster and Murphy is potentially an elite shooter too.

We’d need some rebounding for sure. Josh Hart at the 5 in bench units
