Pizza: Central, Bread and Circus
Burgers: Max's Pool Hall, Hideaway on Lee, Judice Inn
Cajun Food: Bon Temps, Poor Boy's Riverside Inn
Po Boys: Pops, Old Tyme
BBQ: Blanchards and Johnsons (Mid City BBQ is a cool restaurant with good cocktails but shitty BBQ, it's clearly their lowest priority)
Italian: Cafe Bella, iMonellis, Marcellos
Greek/Lebanese: Zorbas, Athena, Poseidons
Generally all around good food:
Pamplona (This is probably my favorite restaurant)
Vestal (Great drinks, really good food but VERY pricey)
Spoonbill is okay
Luna Bar and Grill just opened and it's a good spot
There is an authentic taco truck on University before you get to Cameron St. that's really good.
I'll edit and add if I think of anything else
ETA:
Social is good all-around food and cocktails. Haven't been in a while because if I want to spend at that price point I'll usually go somewhere else. There are some items that really hit and some that really miss.
Pete's is a cool sports bar/family spot
KOK Wings have the best wings in town IMO, but their prices have recently skyrocketed due to an apparent wing shortage (I paid $30 the other day for 10 wings, fries, a drink, and tip)

Is Social off everyone’s list? A friend from New Orleans went a couple weeks ago and thought it was great.

Social is solid groceries I'll also add ZEA to the list. Never been disappointed and often times had a to-go box due to the large portions of food.
Gonna also mention Borden's Ice Cream Shoppe for dessert. Definitely a blast from the past

Fizzos famous fried fish dinner.
Never had that but the best poboy I've ever had came from there. I think it was named after the chef...something like The Chef Chris Special?

Where are you coming from? If it’s from anywhere in Louisiana, you don’t want the po boys or the Mexican food here.

Rachel’s serves beef tongue rice and gravy every first Thursday of the month if you’re into that sort of thing.

If you’re coming out to Scott for fried seafood, go to Uncle T’s. Fezzos has some other good dishes, but for fried seafood, Uncle T’s is much better.

I’d add Cuban - Cafe Habana City

Best seafood is at Mazens Grill ...fresh fish...always fresh and good selection.
Thai With Love has great lunch specials...tasty food and priced right.
Chris Poboys ...Chris Special with cup of gumbo is hard to beat...

Arguably, the best C&S gumbo in the city. Great stuff

I think their seafood gumbo (Friday lunch only) is excellent.
