My 18yo son left for college in June after graduating and my 16yo son is working a job and about to start his junior year. It'll be over before you know it. Enjoy it!

Just wait until 6 months+. It does get better, and it becomes the best thing in the world.

It's normal not to bond with them right away. Don't feel bad about that.
Neither of my kids wanted a thing to do with me until they were about two. They wore their mama out during those years.

Might not be getting enough to eat. Get your wife to pump and see how much milk she's making. May have to supplement with formula but that's no big deal.

Lot of truth in this, teenage girls are mean in general.

Mine just turned a year old and he's about to be walking...i'm sure I'll be following him around everywhere with hover hands. My favorite part of raising a kid is when they go to sleep.

Actually this can describe a lot of stuff from the early days I look back at those days like what did I even have to stress about when the baby could barely move and just ate and slept

Mine started walking just before 10 months. Stretch the crawling as long as possible it’s a whole new world once they can walk and grab things off of tables and open drawers and trip on everything

Yes, teething and ear infections are a blast.

Talk to us in 6 months.
shite, 3/4 months to a year is easy as hell. They don't move and they aren't assholes and sleep a lot.
You could take them to Europe if you wanted.

Best piece of advice I can give you is (weather permitting) stay outside in the grass as much as possible. No coffee tables to bang heads on, no concrete to skin knees upon, and no drawers to get into. And kids love being outside (at least mine does). Grass is the best. And being outside wears them out for nap time

Never complain. Keep a good attitude.
Treat your wife like she’s going through the toughest part of her life. It’ll give you purpose and strength.
You’ll prove to her that you’re twice the man she ever thought you were. Your son will grow up seeing what a good man is, and on your deathbed, you will have the comfort of knowing that your contribution to this world will live on after you.
ETA: Get the frick off TD. You have better things to do.
