Just bought and downloaded the "Filling out the Hoodie" 4 day workout. I have been lifting 3-4 days a week for about 4 years regularly now. Ready to give this a try. I am going to start it today and I will report back.

It is definitely higher volume than I am used to which I hope will lead to the gains I am looking for. I've been sort of stuck on a plateau the last year or so in the gym.

And for $20, it's a small investment.

it will. i suggest running it, then running filling out the hoodie 2. then deciding a path forward from there

awesome man. i know we have shared stuff in the past but honestly Aaron is a really small business and this is how he makes his living. If we want him to continue putting out these awesome plans....we have to support him.

appreciatte you doing that. and like you said, its only $20, worse that could happen is you learn something from one of the best minds in S&C. most people spend more on coffee in a week.

I'm a small business owner I understand his frustration. He is truly putting out a lot of information for novice's like my self to take advantage of at a small fee.

I will try both then evaluate and may do some sort of leaning program he has for bikini season.

Just purchased grasshopper. Looking forward to giving it a go.

One piece of feedback for the owner - his website has so little info on it. If it weren’t for this thread I never would have purchased it.

i agree. Aaron prolly needs to do more advertising. He did just upgrade the site and it looks awesome. his instagram is his main way of advertising.

i would love for him to do a Reddit AMA in the weightroom subreddit once a quarter or every 6 months. I think it would help a ton towards his sales.

also aaron, if you see this, would love a youth program that focused on training baseball players and throwers(not that they need anything really special as everyone needs strong hips, strong legs and a strong back) but if its pushed toward that sub group it would sale really well.

Did the first workout of "Filling out the Hoodie" yesterday and it was a good workout and a good pump. The weighted pull-ups gassed me pretty good.

I've purchased 3/4 programs since reading this thread. Keep up the good work PPSA!

Just purchased Grasshopper

I've just been doing PPL - would be nice to have some structure and see if I can actually stick to a whole 8 weeks of consistency.

I think you will like Grasshopper. One could thing with ppsa is you can always change after 4 weeks. Keeps the boredom away for sure.

just guess. then take 85% as your everyday max. better to run through the first time with weights that are too light than to be failing lifts.

Do what lsu777 says, but there are calculators online.

thanks fellas.

Gonna start it on Monday.

3 days per week. Adding in pullups and a little light cardio on the other 4 days. Really want to get back to daily pushups but my elbow simply cannot handle the volume.

just finished up retesting my maxes and ready to start up Silverback on Saturday. I downloaded all the pdf's when they were out there too but still purchased it as well. Like you guys I feel it's important to support guys like this.

I've been lifting for a while so I'll report my thoughts on the program as it goes. One thing I'm definitely interested in seeing is how my Sumo Deadlifts progress. I've always been a conventional guy so when preparing for the program I had to start working on that movement.

Out of the 5 day plans what is everyone's favorite? I am considering Brickhouse or Elbow meat as of now.

Has anyone ran Brickhouse Remastered twice?

Yeah I'm looking for a 4 or 5 day plan. Just went to his website and didn't realize he had so many programs.

ETA: How is grasshopper? I'm not a beginner but I've been very lazy and not as consistent for the past year as I used to be.

I'm starting week 2 of Turnt Up- kinda like the three-day plan as it gives some flexibility for doing other activities (similar to GSLP I suppose)

GSLP was awesome. I did it a few years ago and got really strong and lean.

I'll run grasshopper for 8 weeks then swap to something more advanced.
