Remember when Obama's AG Holder sued the big bad banks (they were all in line with) Citi, BOA and so on...for the housing crisis bundling?
The monies didn't go to the people forced to short sell/ some foreclosed-- to go out of State for a new job. AND OR the people given mortgages that had no business owning a home with zero down payments or invested interest.
The monies went to Castro's HUD to essentially the new ACORN to 'community organize.' AKA funnel money to get dominion in our system with China and the DNC as the front guys.

What would you be willing to do if you knew any of your retirement/401(k) deposits were purchasing investments with Chinuh connections?
ask the folks at CALPers. Largest pension fund in the country and 40% of it is invested in Chinese companies.
They really do own us. And our scumbag politicians, starting with Clinton made it happen while we sat and let them.
Going to laugh real hard when that Chinese credit bubble pops. Well, maybe not so hard. Then all the "the man who wants to be left alone" and " i was just a cheesemaker" memes will come to life

The hard thing is when it pops, it also destroys China. As mentioned earlier, I don’t see where this goes or how to get out of it.

I'm more concerned about china buying our politicians, academics, DAs, generals, intelligence officers, judges and journalists than them or anyone else buying land. They can do much more damage purchasing the former
They already did all that. The next phase is buying up land. It isn't just housing, either. They are buying runways, ports, etc.

Blackrock is one of many. In my area, it is Progress Residential.

It's fairly well documented that Lieawatha's brainchild, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, was doing exactly what she said by shaking down businesses for "fines" / "donations" and then steering them to politically favored causes for the Obama administration.
Hence why the libs had a shitfit when Trump tried to fire the head of the CFPB considering that the Obama administration had illegally written the rules so that the executive branch couldn't exert control over the agency.

Pile on record low financing rates and high inflation expectations

Another control point. This fall they're going to push hard for vaccine passports (which have nothing to do with COVID, or vaccines) and that will be a de facto implementation of social scoring. Once they control the real estate, they can then begin to deny you for housing. They will already be standing at the door of your bank. They've already got you by the balls if you're a business owner. That's why you're seeing protests all over Europe. They're just a bit further along the path to Gulag than we are.

The whole situation is so crazy you can pretty much pick your conspiracy theory. Whatever it is it's sinister. China making a massive land grab with a U.S. middle man is really the only thing that makes sense to me with the money involved.
Most Americans still don't know this real estate racket really took off after the financial meltdown of 2009/2010 with TARP. All that money was used to clear toxic real estate assets off the books of the big investment banks books and that money was used to buy up both commercial and residential real estate at fire sale pricing.

China is getting creative with their land grabs. They are building a bridge in Montenegro that Montenegro can't afford. When they default on it, China is going to claim swaths of land there.
"...if Montenegro is not able to repay China's state-owned Export-Import Bank on time, the bank then has the right to seize land inside Montenegro, as long as it doesn't belong to the military or is used for diplomatic purposes."
How a Chinese-Built Highway Drove Montenegro Deep Into Debt
It's the same thing in several places in Africa, China is leveraging their construction and labor to put other nations behind the 8-ball and force them into giving up territory.

We are living in Robocop.
In that film series, the city's inability to pay OCP to run the police put them in a position to foreclose on the city.

Corporate Feudalism, cyberpunk dystopia style. When "privatization" means that eventually a handful of corporate monopolies run your entire life. Less 1984 and more Brave New World.

I was hoping that reality would be less Cyberpunk than the abortion of a game that CDPR unleashed.
And I had high hopes for that too.

Only six states have agricultural restrictions on China, Newhouse said, "so this is something that I think is desperately needed in our country to prevent China, Communist China, from taking over our agricultural industry."
Newhouse added that the House Committee on Appropriations adopted the amendment through a unanimous voice vote, which is rare for two reasons: being unanimous and passing an amendment from the minority party.
"I think that that tells us that there's concern across the board [over] the direction that people see China taking," he said, adding that neither political party wants to see China taking over America's critical assets, like it has with other countries.
Democrats want to include North Korea, Iran, and Russia in addition to China in the amendment, Newhouse said. But North Korea has no money to buy farmland in the U.S., and the other countries haven't purchased any land in recent years, unlike China.
"China's got almost 200,000 acres right now in the United States," he explained. "Russia has, I think, 800." Newhouse believes Iran has "just around 2,000, you know, a mere percentage of what China has. And the thing is, over the last couple decades, none of those countries have been buying to any degree.
"China, on the other hand, over the last decade, has been increasing dramatically — 10 times the purchases of what they had a decade ago."
New York Democrat Rep. Grace Meng claimed that Newhouse's amendment would "perpetuate already rising anti-Asian hate," which caused Newhouse to erase all mention of Chinese nationals in the legislation. Still, he said, the Democrats seem to be making it more anti-Asian by not focusing on the Chinese Communist

Yes, I don't have to research it to know. Blackrock is supposedly the largest financial investments firm in the world? They don't get to that level without dealing with CCP.
