From the start of kindergarten through the end of med school, never made a B.
It got me where I wanted to be in school and, later, in life. But TBH I wouldn't do it again, and I certainly wouldn't encourage my kids towards it.
Still proud of it though.

I was the Student/Athlete of the year my SR in HS.at a Catholic HS of over 1500 students. The best part is I was the only non-Catholic in the school, I am a Methodist.

I had the highest OBP on my Legion baseball team without getting any legit hits. Just infield hits, walks and hit by pitch. I was a sprinter and only 5' 3" in high school so our coach said "don't ever let me see duck away from a pitch". I'd steal second on the first pitch every time. I always had bruises all over me. I had a strike zone the size of a postage stamp.

Never missed a spelling word on a test, from first grade until whatever grade I stopped taking spelling tests.

I played in a league in college that was 4 on 4. We dominated and made it to the finals against this team of all black dudes. At half time the score was close, and one the guys told me ‘y’all pretty good, but we gonna frick you up in the 2nd half’. I thought he was just trash talking but they beat the brakes off us.

Got a top 10 scholarship to UNO. In those days UNO had around 5,000 freshmen, so I found that impressive. They basically paid my tuition plus paid for my car stereo and rims. LSU people like to rag on UNO, but they got me into LSU Dental after only 3 years of college.

Beat an MIT PhD with two doctorate degrees in a Scrabble tournament on the last board with the play of three tiles (all I had left) forming 6 different words and 89 points, winning by 11 points. He was a sore loser and walked away without congratulating me, because up until my play, he was gloating and already puffing on his victory cigar.
