I caught a 12 lb and a 13 lb bass on the same crank bait within 30 minutes of each other back in the early 90’s when I fished a lot

Lotsa folks on the Poli Board never made a B in school either.

Or a C.

And each of their individual votes count the same as does your’s.

I made it from the BTR parking garage through security and onto my departing plane in under 10 minutes once. It was like 25 minutes from leaving my office to sitting in my seat. Barely made it before the cabin door closed. I was so proud.

This was pre 9/11.

Eh, my life seems to be full of slightly above average at best achievements except my wife. She’s out of my league. I’m not the most physically fit guy, so I guess it’s my humor.

I made an All-Star team in LL and had a sweet diving catch. My batting turned to shite within 2 years.

I finished 2nd in a citywide middle school golf tournament once. 23 years late I hover around the high 70’s/low 80’s at my home course.

I was a whisker from making the all-state band on percussion my senior year.

I should have done more in HS sports but I was undersized and shy. It wasn’t an era where programs wanted everyone to join. It’s a completely different environment at schools around here now. I wouldn’t have been worth a shite, but it would have been fun.

I completed the epic Hunter quest on World of Warcraft and crafted the Rhok’delar longbow of the ancients….

Pretty nerdy tbh but it was hard as hell.

It's just so unfortunate when you pursue this dream 3 times that where you think you belong keeps slamming the door in your face, yet others with lower stats get in.

I was told in an interview upon a second round of applications, “well, I guess some people just fall through the cracks” with regards to why I didn’t get an interview the first year I applied to a particular school.

If you want to, you will get in. And when you do, you will hold a life accomplishment that most around you don’t give a shite about.

I ran a 4.4 40 in HS and played college baseball. I stole 48/48 bases my senior year and led the nation in stolen base percentage. Not bad for a white boy!

Made mr personality and mr athletic in 6th grade. Parents were so proud. Broke record for Touchdowns receiving a month later. Back then passing in the 6th grade wasn’t really done much. Good year
