…Krystals has replicated them.

My kids wanted one. When I saw what they were, I had to take a “tax bite”.

Pretty much an exact replica of the classic fried apple pie.

Jack's has had them for years and they are pretty much the same as McDonald's. If you have a Jack's nearby, check em out.

If you ask nicely, they’ll put your fried pie in a flurry and mix the two together.

Damn those were yummy memories but I do like the strawberry/cream cheese pies they have now. Those are really good.

There are a lot of childhood/past foods I miss. I have a few in mind in particular...

Top of the list...

1. Arby-Q's...my goodness those were good.
2. Mexican Pizza @ Taco Bell
3. Chef Boyardee Roller Coasters

Seriously, why do they deprive us from such goodness?

KFC/Taco Bell in Westwego had KFC's-replica-version of the McDonald's apple pie about 5 years ago, and without warning took them off the menu, in favor of TBs not-nearly-as-good fried caramel apple "empanada".

The fact that you know this much about the “menus” (dog food) of two disgusting fast food restaurants should tell you something.
