I remember siegen was not bad 20 years ago now it’s scary. It just seems there are so few nice areas left here and they always get taken over by homeless and criminals

Baton Rouge will probably be 70-75% black.

If Exxon leaves, the other big boys will follow.

It'll be Detroit 2.0

It will be an utter shitehole among the worst in the US. St George (secession itself was a near impossible effort) will drain the tax base further and become a fortified paradise within another failed Dem led urban exercise.

If you think the present mayor is bad*, you really won’t want to be around for the 2041 edition.

*And you would be correct

Baton Rouge will never see a Republican mayor again.

It will look like a deserted city, but with people living in it.

The state capital and LSU should still be here so I would think the Lakes area will still be decent. The neighborhoods along the south side of Florida blvd. will have deteriorated further. Government St. Revitalization will be a thing of the past. OLOL will be the hospital for the poor only and Mall of LA will be shuttered or torn down for new neighborhoods in St. George city. Crime will be an expected part of life.

20 years?

Well, that’s after the Great Robot Revolution of of 2038, but still before invasion of the death squads from St. George.

RoboBurrow is elected mayor, but he is a mere puppet controlled by Chicken, who directs the city with his Laser Beam eyes from atop Baw Tower (they rename Shaw Tower in 23)

North of Choctaw is crushed under the every growing gut of Gravy. He heard that NBR was a food desert, misunderstood, and started eating it.

And we still don’t have a loop.
