At what point/age range in your life did you stop being a follower?

If you ever was one....
I've always been independent, but didn't always implement it. At times it led to me going along with what others did. I never got into trouble or anything, but there was nothing progressive about it either.
Thank God I woke up from that and decided to live life under my terms.

I was never much for following the crowd, but probably did more than not till I was about 23

If you ever got a tattoo, you are a follower.

Sometimes you lead, sometimes you follow.

Why would you think anyone on this website is not a follower? People are here because it is comfortable and their worldview is reinforced with numbers.

This is the OT. We all wear the uniform of cargos and PFG and live for passing judgment on other people

Ever since Jesus said, “Follow me.”
He was cool with Crocs so it works for me.
YMMV

Sophomore year of high school. Before that I put highlights in my hair, chased brand names, Ferrari poster in my room, Listen to top 40 music, etc.
Basically trying to fit in with whatever the likes of what I thought cool was.
Then I lost the baby fat & built my own Identity that was more unique. I’m not sure if my subconscious motivation was to set myself apart or whatever but I really haven’t changed superficially since.

I’ve always had problems following the crowd but I fully broke free of the daily grind at 36. I live and work the way I want

I was about 21. Born in 83, and around 2004 I realized our govt lied to us about Iraq. Then, became a history major and realized that our govt has lied about a ton. That knowledge, mixed in with what Terrance McKenna (Google him) would call a “heroic dose” of mushrooms and LSD, made me realize most things within our society are bullshite, and that we are along for a temporary ride in this realm.

I think one of the keys to success is learning when to lead and when to follow. The mastery of knowing when and where to do each is something that few people achieve.

15, my group of friends turned from being a little silly to absolutely dangerous and I noticed it right away. Did my own thing ever since.
A few years later one went to Angola for murder and all the other ones started a long road of going in and out of the parish jails to this day.

Never was one, except maybe for a year or two on college and just got old quick
I’ve always lived in places where i didn’t belong and didn’t fit in
Nothing much has changed in 40 years, but I was lucky to meet a guy who was a misfit too
