Please don't charge your cars. Please don't use big appliances. Please don't leave lights on.

So basically California wants you to sit in the dark doing nothing from 6pm to 7 am.

Or maybe they want you to go outside and ride a bike...so you can get accosted by the homeless or the violent criminals they let out under pretense of Covid.

I cannot fathom why any productive person would choose to live in the Democratic Peoples Republic of California. Imagine not being able to deliver cheap and accessible electricity to any state in America!

What do you mean the power from electric vehicles has to come from somewhere?

Without looking, I guarantee you a good chunk of Twitter is saying, “But, muh freezing Texans.”

Meanwhile, actual Texans didn’t really give a crap.

told residents several times to voluntarily conserve energy, including asking them on social media to stop charging their electric vehicles during peak usage times.
is it possible anyone in California that drives an electric car is having second thoughts regarding the purchase?

Gavin Newsom? not so bright. liberal government policies will be their doom.

And before the ink is even dry, Snopes is on the case and spinning like a mofo.

sNopes.

The above-displayed meme was inaccurate. California did not tell “everyone” not to charge their electric cars. In reality, residents were asked to charge their cars at a time other than when the energy supply was limited.

Urging Californians to charge their electric vehicles in advance of peak power demand hours in not the same as asking California citizens to avoid charging electric vehicles.

California residents should buy gasoline run generators to charge their cars...lol.

Go green with the electric cars and solar power grids, then realize you can’t charge cars at night lmao

Yay, green!!!

It's the new Dark Ages, with the obvious exception being that now we actually have the knowledge but think it's dumb to use it.

Regressives, folks. Gotta love 'em.

Meanwhile, here in WNC it was too cold this morning for me to have my coffee on the screened-in porch. Love that climate change.

So they want people to buy electric cars so they don’t use gasoline but they don’t want people to charge their electric cards because they don’t want to them to use electricity.

Liberalism in a nutshell.
