In college I worked at a local golf course as a cart guy.
There were two old guys working the job too.
One was selling drugs to all the members.
One was busted for selling class 3 weapons to members.
Wild.
Bastard never sold me a gun either.

Guy on night shift was fricking a coworkers wife in the farm truck one evening and they were lying on the CB radio mic and we all heard it. Including the husband. Then a gunfight broke out later on between the 2 families over it
We used to let people pay to come fish on the ponds and there was a black family fishing one day and one of the employees decided to play a prank on them and stripped naked in the woods and ran out of the woods after them screaming.
I could tell stories for hours. Catfish farming attracts some really really interesting folks

Had a guy who had been with the company a while suddenly announce to everybody he was quitting and moving to San Francisco to work for his brother. We were all happy for him, we threw a going away party for him on his last day.
The next day we found out he was actually moving to a federal prison in TX for the next 7 years for child pornography.

We had an employee using the company computer to watch porn. He’d wait to take his last break at a time when everyone else was working. Supervisor caught onto the guy, bravely marched into the computer lab and chased him out of the room yelling “not at work or on the company computer dammit!” I still can’t believe they never fired him for it

A VP got fired and when the facilities guy was cleaning out his office, he found ziploc bags of turd in the guy's desk drawer.

I know a guy that started working in a country club pro shop during college, one way or another he started bookieing for them, he dropped out of college and still works there as a front for being a bookie. He's absolutely stacking paper as a lot of these members bet big.
He travels all over the country living the dreams in his mid-late 20s, I have no idea what his parents think he does as a job or if they know he's a gambling king pen.

New hire - day 1 caught throwing welding whips over fence/property line to sell for scrap. Fired on his first day
Engineer who had an addiction problem. Baw's wife tossed him out on Friday night. He came to the plant and went on a weekend long binge. Made coffee in main office and just appeared to spread it everywhere. Ate random food from people's offices/fridge. He's found in his office passed out in the floor Monday morning and is relieved of duty.
Maintenance guy who was slightly autistic gets trolled all the time, eventually blows up at work. Screams "I'm not anybody's n*****" throughout manufacturing floor for all to hear. Fired that day.

At a company I worked for in the early 2000s, there was this guy hired as a software developer. He would come in, drink his coffee, get a good hour's worth of work done, and then disappear. He had another job two floors up and was double-dipping. It took 6 months for the guy to get caught and he was fired from both jobs.

Well, this remind me of something I got caught doing. When I was in college, I worked at the plant where GummiSavers are made. I worked on the inspection table, which was the last place before the trays went into the wrapper. As a joke, I made up a bunch of trays that were only yellow and green GummiSavers and sent them down the line. As I planned, there were too many for the last inspector to catch all of, so several made it through. I was laughing and laughing about some mad kids getting only shitty green and yellow gummies. About 10 minutes later, my supervisor walked up with a handful of my “special edition” GummiSavers. Apparently, QC snagged them in their one handful of finished goods they come out on the line and grab once per hour. The odds of this happening are astronomically low since those things were cranking out at a rate of 600 per minute. Anywho, no one ratted me out, so I didn’t get fired.

Caught? No idea. I'm usually the one doing crazy shite when I work in offices, and I haven't been caught yet.
Lessee: Banged my fiancee (now Mrs. FCP) on the conference room table late one night. Used company's T1s to run about 20 file sharing computers in a closet back when Napster/Kazaa were a thing. Snorted coke daily in my office for 2+ years. Removed the filter from the coax feeding the office modem, ran a line to a TV in my office, and watched sports. A few others, but I'd end up doxxing myself. I've worked in a lot of places over the years...
Actually, now that I think about it, I've had a couple of co-workers get stupid: One guy (who now has his face around town on billboards) got caught by his wife in a stairwell with a secretary. That divorce was epic. Also had a co-worker who was actually a convict out on bail. That dude was running a crime syndicate out of our office until he got caught charging clients $20K and bringing in a $10K fee to the Firm. Good times.

Had a lady in a department I worked in who drank water out of an empty Jack Daniels bottle.
She was fired for always showing up late/no show. She had a bit of a drinking problem believe it or not.

While I was active duty a married buck sergeant and a young female airman started having an affair. He was a real piece of work, just one of those guys that needs a good arse kicking and she was a sweet kid. Anyway he's going to end the affair but decides to have her co-sign on a loan so he could get a new car; his credit sucked arse. He gets the car and then dumps her......3 days later she shows up at his apartment and shoots him 5 times point blank in front of his wife, killing him....she went out to the parking lot, got in her car and killed herself with the last bullet.
I was asked to escort her body to the family; it was an honor to do it but not a happy time with the family.

An engineer started work at Company A. Works for two weeks and then doesn't show up anymore.
It seems he never quit his job at Company B and went back working there. He just took two weeks vacation from Company B and wanted to see if he liked working at Company A.

Working in a plant in MS very early in my CM career. One of the crew supervisors (guy A) and one guy who was a carpenter or something (guy B) were both swingers.
So guy B starts sleeping with guy A's wife; and guy A starts sleeping with guy B's wife. Well wife of guy A was tired of banging guy B. She told her husband (guy A) that she wasn't going to be sleeping with guy B any longer and didn't care if he kept sleeping with his wife...but guy B's wife was not tired of guy A's hammer yet. So guy A kept boning guy B's wife. Ends up spilling over into work one day. I'm pretty sure they were both fired.
Moral of the story don't swing with people you work with
