Are you going to act like you aren’t in favor of the good ol’ boy system with Ed orgeron as the football coach?

I don’t think the good ole boy system came into play considering Alleva was widely disliked and didn’t fit in and was an outsider.

Let’s stay focused on baseball, thanks.

I think Mosconas sources are legitimate, but that doesn’t mean they’re gonna 100% right 100% of the time. I’m hoping this is one of those times.

So the guy that recruited 2 freshman all Americans is crap. Top 5 rank classes ( ranked by experts), but he is crappy.

Do we need help with recruiting or getting over the hump?

Which one will Bianco help with?

I would believe this more if literally anyone else said it.

There’s no spinning the shite show if we end up with Bianco by himself, but adding Cain to the mix is a fireable offense.

Cain is an awesome recruiter. Bianco traditionally coaches the pitchers himself and keeps a recruiting coordinator and hitting coach. If he brought hi hitting coach and let Cain be recruiting coordinator, I think that'd be fine as far as assistants go.

I don't want Bianco, just so we're clear, but pre-melting that Scott Woodward should be fired based on the speculation that Nolan Cain might be retained is absurd. But par for the course from you. Your opinions on football are really bad, your opinions on other sports are all-time horrific. If we didn't know better, we'd think you were trolling, but we know you're just a complete moron and the biggest joke on this website.

So former players who want bianco? Sounds like not great sources considering all the misinformation thats been put out

I have no idea if those are his sources, I’m saying he has relationships with them, so he has some inside knowledge for sure. It’s not a “he’s making everything up” situation.

Why? I was told a few days ago that Cain was a good recruiter.

If this comes to fruition Woodward should be out on his arse.

While the hire would be very disappointing, don’t you think the AD should at least be judged by the results the hire produces?

Also the idea that a botched baseball search could do Woodward in is silly. Now football? Yes.

Bianco isn't a crappy coach.

He would be a complacent option.

1 trip to omaha in 20 years is terrible when the guy at Tenn has already done it once in 4 yrs.

Matt has sources when it comes to baseball. Those sources may be Coogan or Walker or Theriot, but they’re sure as hell better than yours.

None of this is new information
The AD said yesterday they were meeting this morning, regular end of season meeting
The Cain stuff was rumored on here last week
Matt is repeating what has already been posted here

ETA
By making stuff up I meant he is acting like he knows breaking news when it’s already been posted here

If Bianco is hired and he does poorly in the postseason next year, as he's done every year except for one as a HC, then Woody better go into hiding.

Program needs a fresh young coach, not a good ole boy.

That’s a back door way of saying i don’t what the frick is going on. it’s an easy way out when it doesn’t happen to say he didn’t accept the job

I'll wait and go with what Tommy Krysan says on the coaching search.

Makes no sense with the way Woodward operates.

If you're going off of precedent from his previous stops to judge how Woodward operates, then maybe. But Woodward's track record is still unfolding here at LSU. This is his first hire for one of the three major men's sports here.
