“Would do fine” is the problem. Will he be worse than we’re currently at? Unlikely. Marked improvement? Probably not.

I don’t understand the obsession with Bianco. If people weren’t pleased with PM, not gonna be much or any better with him.

The obsession is from people who want access to the program and they’re using their local media influence as the propaganda arm to influence the rest of the fans.

He pretends like he’s skip Bertman in his mannerisms so the old skip guys want him. They also still think it’s the 90s and LSU baseball resources are miles ahead of what he’s got at ole miss

He would keep LSU squarely in the middle of the SEC pack. Ole Miss will upgrade. A&M has upgraded. State, Arkansas, Tennessee, Vandy, Florida… not going anywhere. That’s half the teams right there and doesn’t include up and comers like UGA, Kentucky, Bama. We will be competing with those 3 teams every year hoping for an at large. frick that.

Who the frick cares whether the new coach has LSU ties? Skip is really throwing his weight around. Take a look at that Mainieri tribute video on the front page. I couldn’t tell if it was a tribute to Paul or Skip.
Skip let Saban and Pat Henry walk because he didn’t want an LSU coach to rival his legacy in nattys. Sounds like he’s trying to insure the same with the next baseball coach.
And I couldn’t give a frick whether a bunch of washed-up jocks get free premium tickets, nor do I care if the little group of our attention-whore goofy fans get an “LSU” coach that knows who they are and makes them feel like insiders.
