I like Putin

I always have.
I actually trust him more than the democrats, and certainly more than the media.
You know, we shafted Russia when the wall came down. We actually reassured them that the former eastern block, Ukraine, etc.would remain neutral territory. Then we shoved NATO right up their arse, and CIA started flipping Ukraine.
Just lied and deceived like dogs. Really kicked them when they were down.
That's the real history of why US Russian relations are so bad.
Then, after all that, they use Russia as a scapegoat for political purposes... with all the election meddling BS.
Just sad that we made an enemy out if what could have been a friend.
In summary, Putin isn't part of the New World Order. So he has to be vilified. But I take everything the state run media says about him with a grain of salt.

Let's not get crazy. Putin is a devious MF. He is former head of KGB and runs his elections like a Democrat. I don't trust either. The difference is Putin is smart and Biden is...well Biden.

I’d have a beer with him.
And I get it. I never felt like this 20 years ago, but our worst enemy is now officially within our own borders.

Putin would never try to destroy his own country and he won't bow to the one world gubment goons either.

I believe this country's own Left is more readily willing to bring harm to our country to achieve their own goals than Putin's level of ready willingness to harm our country for his own goals.

Putin has been trying to restore the USSR for a long time. He is quite literally a communist in the spirit of communist leaders of Soviet and Chinese past
Don't go crazy here.

Putin is having to deal with a psychopathic new world order that starts wars and releases viruses and has rogue murderous intelligence agencies running wild. If he is authoritarian it's largely because the west is so corrupt and scary and they have to be kept at bay.

I don't think it's so much we like Vlad, as much as it feels like he is less of a threat than our own damn government

If a liberal reporter tells Putin about white privilege, you think he’s going to sit there and take it?

Putin spent his first few years fighting the oligarchs, and pushing them out of politics.
During the 90s they ran Russia, and they ran it for their own benefit. The oligarchs are still very influential, but the balance of power has shifted towards the state.

In no way shape form or fashion would Vlad Putin ever be a friend to the USA. He would smile and shake the hand of every POTUS we elect in front of the cameras and then as soon as everybody stops looking he will work as hard as he can to knife the USA in the back. This man is no friend of the USA and can never be trusted. Same with the Chinese. If Congress had any balls at all they would prevent American business from doing any business at all in both Russia and China. Both Governments seek the United States demise. Why should we enrich them and give them the means and money to do so.

Don't be too hard on Putin. One day your kids may have to pray for his assistant when the left wing tries to exterminate them.

He has no love for the US and will always seek to advance his own interests but he has made for a very convenient super villain for our establishment to utilize over and over in their “look squirrel” diversions to keep attention off their own shady dealings.

Don't like.
Do respect.

If I were dictator there would be people I’d have taken out. No question.

No. There is certainly some Soviet mentality in his thinking, it comes out every once and a while. But he is a Russian nationalist and everything he does is in that spirit, from his internal policy, foreign policy, and even aesthetic proclivities.
