1. The Gleason punt block vs the Falcons in Sept. of '06.

2. The Brian Milne recovery of Hakim's PR fumble vs
Rams in '00.

3. FG to beat the Vikings in 2010 NFCCG.

Loudest pop

- Gleason block
- Porter pick and Hartley field goal in 09 NFC championship

Loudest game
- Return to the dome
- 09 NFC championship
- 06 playoff game against eagles
- Rams NFC championship
- Patriots game in 09

There’s been a ton of loud games but those really stand out to me.

Probably the 1stQ of the 2018 NFCCG where the Rams couldn't hear the snap count.

It's this and it's not close. People actively trying to be loud will always be louder than moments of cheering for a good play (Gleason block, NFCCG FG, or Porter pick)
That entire 1st half of the Rams championship game was instant headache loud. I don't remember the Vikings championship game that loud, probably because most people were nervous the entire game. First half of Rams game people thought we had the game in the bag and were just getting louder and louder

An underrated loud Dome game was the first half of the Jan. 1988 playoff game vs the Vikings, esp. after Hebert hit Martin for a TD early.

agree with this. The loudest pop was absolutely the Gleason block. I'd say the two NFC championship games were the loudest from start to finish.

Earlier in that game, I think it was Willie Jackson, caught a TD and we thought that was the dagger. shite was BOUNCING in the middle of the terrace.

People who weren't there don't understand.

I would argue it was the loudest sports event ever to anyone. I don't care about decibel "records."

You can't get louder than an enclosed building with a full playoff crowd of people who were challenged all week. The play clock was at 35 and the crowd was already screaming together.

I wasn’t there but remember how freaking loud it was on TV. After Demario Davis made that INT in the 1st qtr it exploded. Didn’t they say the ceiling tiles were falling down it was so loud?

My first saints game was against Atlanta in 2006 and it was loud.

Top 2

Falcons vs Saints 2006
Vikings vs Saints 2009

Next 2

Patriots vs Saints 2009?
Rams vs Saints 2019

I'd like to also throw in that the Giants vs Saints game in 2015 was just wild. 52-49 non stop chaos.
