Yeah, you are correct. Just pulled up the highlights from that game. The defense was on fire that day until the final drive where they went into a prevent defense. Up until that final Bears TD drive, Jim Harbaugh had 16 yards passing.

I had also forgotten that Morton Anderson hit a 60 yard FG before halftime that would have been good from 65. Such a heartbreaking loss that day.

I was told when McKenzie pick off Brady in that game it was almost as loud as the Gleason block...

Devery Henderson took a post route 50+ yards to the endzone at that game. That was when the light bulb came on for me. I figured if they can do that, to them, that's a championship team.

1. The Gleason punt block vs the Falcons in Sept. of '06.

2. The Brian Milne recovery of Hakim's PR fumble vs
Rams in '00.

3. FG to beat the Vikings in 2010 NFCCG.
I cried for two of three of these.

2. Gleason blocked punt.
3. Hakeem drops the ball.

In the highlights from the 1991 match up with the Bears that I posted, it contains additional highlights from Chicago WGN news broadcast. There's a clip of Jim Harbaugh talking about how his tackles were at a disadvantage all game long because they couldn't hear the snap count. Harbaugh has a busted up chin. Also, Ditka's interviews are hilarious.

Jim Kelly said the same thing after the week 16 game in 1992. Defense beat up & harassed Kelly all game long. In the 3rd quarter as the Bills were driving, Rickey Jackson knocked the shite out of Kelly, sandwiching him with Pat Swilling. The hit dazed Kelly. He later said that while he was on his back looking up, that the ceiling of the Dome was spinning & the crowd was going crazy. The play I'm talking about happens at the 2:15:26 mark in the video. Right before the play, you can hear the crowd begin to get really loud.

Saints vs Bills 1992

This was another great defensive performance that got wasted because of inept offense & a costly forced throw by Bobby Hebert when he tried to force a throw in triple coverage to Quinn Early down around the endzone. Thurman Thomas was the entire Bills offense that day though because Kelly got the snot beat out of him all game long. That same Bills team went on to lose to Washington in the Super Bowl but there were 3 future Hall of Famers on that offense. Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas & Andre Reed.

My personally attended top 3

1) Domecoming
2) NFCCG Hartley FG
3) 2018 Rams NFCCG (I tend to try to scrub this from memory, but, I vividly remember the week before Payton asking fans to cheer from the start of the play clock. And they did..all game. My ears were bleeding after.)

Dude
We had every chance to beat the bills that year.
We had them all game.
I remember watching that game in Jacksonville visiting my sister for Christmas.
We had them. ??

I know. It ended being the typical outcome for those Mora lead teams. Outstanding defense. Conservative offense that ends up making a critical turnover(s) at some point. Lose the game late in the 4th quarter.

That Bears game I mentioned earlier in the thread, Harbaugh passed for 36 yards yet the Bears somehow won that game.

that Rams NFCCG was the loudest constant noise I’ve ever heard in the dome. it was nuts. ended in shock, confusion, silence and anger of course.

There were MANY times on third down that the dome got ear-shattering loud only to have Joe Montana throw the ball to Jerry Rice or John Taylor to bring the crowd to it's knees. You would have had to be there to understand what it was like trying to get over that hump.

Hakim drop, Gleason block, Hartley kick, in no particular order, then a large gap, then anything else.

1992 Week 4 vs Minnesota

Beat them 26-0.

There was a continuous roar. Crowd never let up, defense fed off of it.

1. Saints v. Giants in 1987. You had to be there in the 4th quarter when the Saints started to exert there will and it drove LT crazy

2. The Monday Night game vs the Patriots in 2009. Brees hits Henderson on a strike in stride.

3. Back in the late 80s early 90s any game against the 49ers. It was loud and vulgar especially when Steve Young was playing

4. Playoff game in 2000. The place went nuts when AZ Hakim fumbled the punt late in the game. BTW AZ Hakim is really great guy. He ended up playing for the Saints a few years later.
