The early returns on Click are not good

Click has been underwhelming but I’m willing to give him a full non fricky offseason with some spending wiggle room before punting on him. See what he does with JV and Greinke’s salary coming off the books and Crane giving him some flexibility.

He may just stink and I could be wrong but that’s how I’m looking at it for now.

Late to the party but why tf would we be using Javier here

Who else we gonna use? Dumpsterizzi only managed 3 innings. You can't burn the whole bullpen because of his dumbass. With Bielak gone the only guy in the pen capable of going multiple innings is Javier.

Rodriguez has been a starter in the minors and hasn’t pitched in a few days. I hate the idea of using Javier every 4 or 5 days as a 3 or 4 inning guy. This team needs another reliable arm for the late innings on a regular basis

Exactly. Bielak seems to fill the long reliever role better than anything else he can do by far. He should be filling this void.

Yeah I actually like Rodriguez more than Bielak personally, not that either is anything special. Regardless whichever is up should be the guy in this role

Joe Smith is an absolute waste of a roster spot. Can’t eat innings and can’t be put in leverage spots and not good enough to put out there to keep a game in reach

Right. Use him up and then send him down for some other scrub... just not actual Scrubb

Yeah this upcoming offseason will be massive for Click. A lot more money to play with but potentially a lot of holes to fill

Didn’t realize a manager can leave the dugout and take up for his team

B squad lineup not withstanding its still in theory, a winnable game. Javier gives you the best chance to keep this game within striking distance.

Fair point, just now we’re not gonna see Javier again for a while. And when we inevitably are in a tight game this weekend and bring in Joe Smith I’m going to be pissed off

With these bats in the lineup, Dusty was never even trying to win. I guess we've decided to settle with winning a series and no sweeps.

If it were a a one-run game and not 3, no one would be upset with Javier pitching.

If we had a bullpen with 8 major leaguers in it I would feel differently but we don't. Got to be selective with the ones we do have.

Hopefully Taylor pitches well and adds some depth.

This is my position, considering when he entered the game, but I get the flip side.

I have no idea how or why but average Joe Martin Perez fricking owns this lineup. Always has. I remember him doing this same shite to us when he was in Minnesota.

ETA: 8 innings 4H 0R 7K

It's classic getaway day. These guys showed up with one foot on the charter.

Him and Kyle Gibson. Gibson basically took his spot on the Rangers their resident father of the lineup when Perez left
