That’s what happened

I’m waiting for the first player to leave and speak out about the manipulation of stats throughout a season

And I wonder if there were a team within the division that was a realistic threat to win, would they pull all this rest shite

I mean every game has an exhibition feel to it.

Jones in the lineup is waving the white flag: feel bad for the fans who fought through the thunderstorms and paid money for that.

Pulling a starter with a shutout in the eighth with 80 pitches?

It's pretty clear from ownership on down, the philosphy is: win 90 games.

They feel pretty confident they can get their 90 games by taking 30-45 games per season "off".

That means they have a 17-32 game window for unexpected frick-ups.

That's why Click hasn't felt pressure to make any significant moves.

That's why Dusty.

That's why Myles Straw is still the starting CF.

Today was one of those games that was truly, never ever winnable.

Dusty should have used this lineup tomorrow. The bottom half of the lineup would feel right at home in a AAA park.

Well that was a piece of shite. Only bright spot I can find is maybe Yuli is coming out of his weeks long slump.

Somebody needs to send some Swanson highlights to Bregman’s social media accounts

The chip on his shoulder is missing

I know it’s a midweek day crowd, but why not play the B crew tomorrow night instead on the road? Why punish your own fans?

At least Yuli saved us from the shutout. Yuli actually had a really good day. Nobody else did shite.

Chalk this loss 100% on Dusty. Sit Correa and Tucker, who are both hot, but not bench Bregman, Yed, and Yuli (though he was good today) who have been playing like hot a-hole.

Can't wait until Dusty is gone. I never liked him here like you guys, but man after today, I hate him waaaaaaaaaaaaay more now. We never had a fricking chance with that fricking lineup he trots out there.

I don’t blame the lineup on Dusty too much. I suspect that’s dictated by the front office. I could be wrong, and I’ll change my opinion if I am wrong. But I do blame Dusty for in-game decisions and bullpen use.

I think the game was lost today as soon as the lineup was made. Never had a chance.

What a dumpster fire of a game. I am happy that mlb.tv was acting up and I couldn't watch.

Baws, good job pulling them through this series. Back after a few days with family events. Rest assured I have been following the threads and you all were stellar as usual.

That thunder you thought heard around noon today was my head exploding when I saw the lineup. Bad enough they jack up tickets when Boston is in town, but then to trot out that group is just pure shittiness to do to the fans.

I do wonder in these situations if that is the lineup come hell or high water, or if they give an additional guy a day off if we’ve already won the series. That is now three 4 game series that I can think of that we’ve essentially tanked game 4. Mariners, Angels, and now this.

I think he is eligible to come off the list tomorrow.
