When you go into a store these days

(from the parking lot) do you put your mask in your pocket and hope there is not a sign posted at the entry door of a mandate to wear a mask before entering the store?
I still see signs saying it's "recommended" leaving you the customer the option with a little hint of pressure "we'd prefer you wear one" ...yet some stores still have "required".
The best is when the signs says something about "Fully vaccinated customers can remove their masks" but it doesn't say anything about non vaccinated people.
oh I feel like a rebel "I dare someone to ask me if I am vaccinated" (I am not and do not want one)
Our State NC no longer has a government mandate on masks but it's left up to each business what they want (which I think is fair and how government should work).
so I walk in keeping my mask in my pocket...and I focused on who is wearing a mask inside...to see if I should put my mask on. LOL
the first employee I see without a mask, I know I am good to go...
I still see a lot of customers with them on... like at Lowes for example...it's still 75% masks for all inside
I walk around with this feeling some Karen is going to say something to me...and fearful of what I might say in reply.
the plastic glass walls are up everywhere and the 6' socials distance signs on the floor are likely to stay.
Yesterday I saw a little boy about 8 waiting on the school bus on a beautiful morning...he was wearing a mask (standing all by himself)... I felt sadness, he probably had to wear it to get on the bus. In my view he is of the lowest risk of us all...and yet he's wearing a mask outside by himself. smh
We still have a long ways to go in NC...to be and to feel fully free again

I've been keeping one in my car
I mainly just go to the Whole Foods in Cary for shopping and there is no requirement there
I do keep some in the car in case I go into a restaurant or something

That's interesting. Lowes in Arkansas has been the epicenter of customers daring someone to make them wear a mask for a long time now.

I haven’t carried a mask in months except in airports

I haven’t seen a place yet requiring them in Nola/Metry. I don’t keep one on me anymore

I was at your point four weeks ago here in Texas. I don’t wear a mask anymore and it is accepted. Some still do here at stores, church, etc. I do have to wear one at work when I go to the office a couple of times a week.

I put one in my pocket in case there is a sign on the door.
If a private business asks me to wear one then I will respect their wishes.

Anyone who still wears a mask is a loser. Don't care what kind of sign they have out front just walk past

god i love talking about masks. what’s y’all’s favorite kind of mask? do y’all still wear one? how many masks did you own at the height of the pandemic? do you agree with mask wearing? what kind of mask is most comfortable? on a scale of 1-10 what was your first experience like wearing a mask? does wearing a mask on your sack keep your balls from catching rona?

Don't even keep a mask in my truck anymore. Any business that wants me to wear a mask to enter doesn't need my money.

Only people I see wearing masks are blacks.
Some elderly but not many.
It’s odd the difference in race.

I guess up until about 3 weeks ago I was wearing mask, when governor changed the mask mandate.
I kept them in my car in case a business required them.
I still have one in my car, but haven’t worn one in about 3 weeks.

Admin, can we please start banning everyone who posts about fricking face masks??? Just tired of both sides of the covid issue to be honest.
STOP BITCHING ABOUT IT AND JUST LIVE YOUR frickING LIFE.

I haven't worn one in a few months... only Total Wine asked me to put one on.
I've noticed that Kroger switched their signs to say that vaccinated people don't need to wear a mask.
I'd say percentage of mask wearers in the Kroger I go to most often has gone from 90% back in March down to about 10% now. Staff included.

I'm in favor of all employees still wearing them. I don't want to get infected with their poorness.
