We're told that homosexuality is merely what two consenting adults do in the privacy of their own homes, and yet...
... we're assailed not just during "Pride month" but ALL YEAR with overtly-sexual images of gay men in S&M gear, suits made of dildos, etc.; corporate pandering to the Alphabet People via marketing efforts, deliberate moves to show gay/lesbian couples in TV commercials, and staggering overrepresentation in television and movies.
I'd wager you might find much more acceptance from mainstream society if you'd be more upfront about all of this being about an entire subculture rather than just private sexual preference. Or do we need 2 TV networks and a whole XM radio channel for hetero folks who dig reverse cowgirl?
