Experimental or not?

Is the Covid-19 vaccine experimental or not? If not, when did it stop being experimental?
Clinical trials typically take 6-7 years to complete. We started using this vaccine after 6-7 months. Not just a vaccine, but 4 different vaccines that each work differently. The FDA has not approved them, but authorized them to be used without approval, due to the pandemic. Why is it wrong to say that this is a large clinical trial?
Obviously, some people have had adverse reactions right away, but that is not unusual. However, we don't know the long term effects of this vaccine. I'm not criticizing the vaccine, it's just a fact: WE DON'T KNOW, and we won't know for years to come.
I will take a pot shot at our government at this point. I believe that if people who were vaccinated do start having medical issues down the road, our government will cover it up. If thousands of people start having neurological disorders or babies are born with birth defects, our government will deny, deny, deny. And we can't sue the pharmaceutical companies. We will have to live with the consequences.
I was told today that I was a conspiracy theorist for suggesting that the vaccine wasn't proven to be totally safe, and that I was selfish for not taking it. I see a lot of very reasonable people not taking this vaccine, and that is okay.
This whole pandemic should underline that everything in today's world is politicized. You would think that a pandemic should be something we can all agree on and that politicizing it should be a line that even politicians don't cross - at least not until the pandemic is under control.
Au contraire...

I still cannot believe the sheer number of people that think we should all be forced to take it. For the unvaccinated to be sequestered from the rest of the population, to be prohibited from doing things like eating at restaurants, attend concerts, etc. These aren't made up, these are things I read about this morning. Concert promoter wants to charge $1000 for non-vaccinated, and the comments all cheer the move. Doesn't your vaccine protect you? Why so scared?

Is the threat from Covid that big that this kind of stuff should be even on the table? Are Drs still dumbfounded on what to do if someone is diagnosed with it? Are there no effective treatment options if caught early? Are people other than the extremely sick or elderly still becoming extremely ill bc of this (this same demographic is highly susceptible to many respiratory illnesses)? Are the vaccines not adequately protecting the demographic mentioned above?

There is a fourth vaccine? I’m only aware of three.

My employer didn’t like how so few people were getting the vaccine, so decided to pay anyone who gets it before July 31 $500.

$500 you say? What exactly do you need as proof of vaccination? (furiously googling fake covid vaccine card)

Mine is giving $100 on honor system and 15 people will be randomly selected for a $15k bonus. Those 15 will have to produce papers, I'm sure.

Operation warp speed only involved the three though, correct? ( not AZ )
I know a lot of countries have their own “state” vaccines.

Bring this to the OT if you want to be entertained with ignorance.

Does having a proof of a positive COVID-19 count as proof of vaccine? Seen 3 studies out so far that show equal or better protection from virus with prior infection vs vaccine....

I mean you just answered your own question.
People who got the vaccine are not at all out of the clear..just because “They feel fine” now. These are the same people that signed a waiver before happily taking the jab....over an overhyped virus.
Taking the vaccine at this point just isn’t logical for me. Nothing about it make sense and feel bad for those gullible enough to consume all the BS.

Considering the vaccine can get lodged in your uterus, that would be concerning.

I don’t feel bad for anyone that took it, info. Is out there if you want to know about it

Maybe it begs the question - Do FDA trials ever NEED to last 5+ years? Was there ever a need for so much red tape?
What does FDA “approval” mean anyway?

I ventured to the OT once. Some kid, wife, and new baby were visiting his wife's family in Wuhan at the beginning of this and I was trying to get the guy to go out and buy a couple bags of rice while it may still be available - like the first day Wuhan got locked down. He had several hours to act, and I was trying to get him to act. I got so much shite from people there - they were completely oblivious to the fact that the government would act with no plan in place to prevent loss of life from their actions. Idiots.

Considering the fact that the Obese and elderly should have the vaccine.
Considering the fact the Democrats lined up to shout "I would never take anything Donald Trump created." Now they are begging for people to get the shots.
Considering the fact that Fauci has been involved since 2012 ...
Considering the fact that those having reactions are at minimal percentages ....you have a much greater chance of dying because of reaction to one Tylenol
What do you have to lose?
