You obviously don't work in the trades then.

I never had to. In fact we had a budget for those items and a supply room to draw from.
People choose to do this, then complain.

Three most hated groups by Americans currently:
1) Law Enforcement Officers
2) Teachers
3) Politicians
Which of these actually deserves it?

So what you’re saying is that one of the hardest aspects of being a teacher is all your hard work, dedication and “give a frick” is completely negated by the deaf ears it falls on.
Well, I owned a gym that did summer fitness programs for teachers. I know how they feel. Lol

Certain individuals in all of them

Probably not a coincidence.

Teachers aren’t hated. They’re your high maintenance child that needs more attention than your independent one. Love em the same

So let me see if I’ve got this right...if someone is joining the workforce soon, and reads TRant, they’ll find out that in order to be a teacher you must:
-Be overpaid
-Only work 9 months out of the year
-Have a super EASY job
-And the only downside is that you must complain about said EASY job on Facebook
Y’all sound like a teacher union’s best recruiting tool!!
Please keep bitching...I love that teachers live rent free in your heads. HAHAHAHA

I run an Autism center and at one time in my career was approached by a supervisor who wanted me to run one for him in a different city. Come to find out this meant buying supplies, making any sensory supplies that we needed myself, going on store runs for any snacks and food, scrounging up office supplies etc. Btw as you can imagine this meant working with kids 1000x more challenging than what teachers deal with 8-5:30 and no summer or any other break for that matter. I will always roll my eyes when these attention whores bitch about what they do.

They don't live rent free, it's more they complain all the time how hard their job is, while I work in an industry that has 65 plus hour norms for a quarter of year and know a couple of people who have been badly hurt on job sites. It isn't deadliest catch, and as someone who has been through the school system, a large portion of teachers coast.

Ok, you may have won the thread.
I know a few stay at homes that have kids in school every day from 8am-330pm, and have a cleaning crew come by once a week and constantly need reinforcement about how underappreciated they are.

I do not find the nurses themselves to be all that bad on a typical day although they can get a bit preachy
its the nursing students or nurses in school to get a career advancement can get a bit dramatic though. Pretty sure from nursing school on some just choose to be in school in some form or another for a decade and they will le you know it
