Here lately we've seen the the current influx of beers
- Trim Tab
- Pontoon
- Westbrook
- Soithern Grist
- Equilibrium
- Founders
- Sweetwater

Etc...

I know personally, I am to the point I am buying local 99% of the time very rarely do I look for outside beers. How are the rest of you?

Although now thanks to Pelican we have some fantastic out of state options as well and I commend them for it as well.

In what context are you using the term "local"? Do you mean in-state?

I ask because im in Georgia & I consider anything in the adjacent states (Alabama, Tennessee, NC, SC, and Florida) local.

As far as out of state beers go, Pontoon is often my go-to for IPA’s, Belgians, and stouts. I often grab Founders stouts as well.

My current lineup is a mix of Parish, Rally Cap, Gnarly Barley, Parleaux, Southern Prohibition, Miller Lite and a crowler from Cypress Coast. I too like to keep it local.

Sav n Time in Harahan has all those and probably about 30-40 plus other different breweries. The selection of local and out of state is incredible. Picked up some Blue Jacket From DC today. First time I've seen that here.

I like to try any from the independent craft breweries - don’t really care where they are from

I drink Great Raft 99% of the time these days. They are local, solid, and make enough styles to satisfy me.

I’ll start buying SeventhTap as soon as they open for the same reasons.

My days of chasing and trading are gone. I’m happy just drinking local.

I just can't buy local. Huckleberry has some issue with all their beers I can't quite put my finger on. Carbonation maybe. Waiting for what Fighting Hand puts out.

My current go-to is anything Gnarly makes. I've never been a dark beer drinker until I tasted their Imperial Peanut Butter Korova Porter recently and now I'm hooked!

Every other weekend or so I'll go hit a few breweries. I'll go to the south shore and hit Urban, Port Orleans, Parleaux, Brieux, Miel, Zony and Courtyard.

Next time I'll go to the BR area and hit Gilla, Rally Cap and Cypress Coast.

Next time around I'll stay on the north shore and hit Gnarly, Low Road, Abita and Chafunkta.

Picked up a few Trim Tab's this past week since they're now being sold in LA. Need to find a place with a good Monkish selection(if any? are they even being sold in LA?).

Oh, and frick Parish and their fricked up virtual waiting room random assignment bullshite!

Makes sense to do this. We support Abita’s lines & in general it’s much better quality than the nationally produced ales anyway.
