Drew Brees: 83-40 (.675) from 54-69 (.439)
Tom Brady: 67-34 (.663) from 58-43 (.574)
Peyton Manning: 70-44 (.614) from 58-56 (.509)
So there we have it. In a fantasy world of perfect kickers and impenetrable defenses, Brees would have the most clutch wins ever and a better winning rate than Manning and Brady. We added a whopping 29 wins to his record compared to just nine for Brady and 12 for Manning.

There’s a better argument that Brees was never one of the three best QB’s playing in the NFL in an individual season, than there is an argument for Brees being the GOAT

I have come to accept that the truth is Tom Brady is the best of all time
And man I would have led a raid on his house to kill him years ago
But what else can be said. He took contracts at 1/3 of his value to build teams. Won everything. Won it more. Destroyed the best QB in the game 20 years after he was drafted.
I am not going to go out of my way to suck his cock but respect is due.
He paid maybe 400 million dollars in lost salary to prove he could do it. Drew the cuck that kneels Brees took all the money he could and ran away like the liberal scum he is.

We've done this thread a bunch. The argument has essentially been that Brees, Manning, Brady, and Rodgers are pretty much the same, but the difference in winning is Brady's defenses. That's fair. But, it looked a couple of years ago like Brees was going to motor along for another 3-5 years and Brady was done. That went the other way and is what really hurts Brees IMO.

What stat is more meaningful than giving your team the lead late in a game?
The whole point of the article is to dispel the “stat-padder” myth and show that Brees has actually put his team in position to win more than any other QB.
ETA: Giant Leaf you clearly have some anger issues and zero awareness. Brees is not a liberal and never knelt during the anthem. He equivocated to placate the extremists like Jenkins while never compromising his original stance.

To be honest, I’m most impressed with Unitas being top 10 in fourth quarter comebacks and game winning drives despite playing nearly his entire career in the ‘50s and ‘60s. Coming back from a deficit back in those days was way harder with DBs being allowed to mug receivers all over the field and offensive linemen not being allowed to extend their arms and open their hands in pass plays.
