I'm positive that not 100% of our residents take the flu shot .. MOST but not 100%. 85/90% of our residents got covid and nearly 30 resident died.
I'm still having to work remotely but I'm curious as to if our IC nurse cross checked (out of pure curiosity) those who got flu shots with those who developed covid. I'll have to ask.

I am a mere one man but it makes sense for me. Haven’t had flu shot since childhood and virus never affected me or any family members that don’t line up for flu shots yearly. It has however affected some family and friends who are yearly flu shot takers.

Besides it doesn't lead to anything similar to "preoccupation." The only time the body will "look for " COVID is when a COVID antigen enters the body. Then the call up in COVID defenses occurs.
And if it appears with vaccines, it would apply to those who actually caught a virus as well. Vaccines introduce weakened viruses to the body and infection introduces regular strength virus to the body.

This was stated a long time ago, people in europe with the flu shot were getting sick at higher rates than ones who didnt.

The DOD and 11 countries did studies on covid-19 and flu shot relationship and all of them pointed to those who got the flu shot caught covid-19 at higher rates, had worse reactions and higher death rates.
I think most of them tackled taking age out of the skew.

Jesus Christ! Really? The CDC collects all of this data. Doctors have been studying the effects of the flu shots for decades, and it helps to prevent the flu. But oh yeah, some whacko named jcaz says…
Do you realize that at one time we had no flu shots, yet people still got the flu. In fact, that’s what caused folks to develop flu shots. So there goes your theory about people who never got flu shots never getting the flu.

Yes, think about them. I mean what could go wrong with injecting yourself with dozens of vaccines, each of which is designed to chemically change your body to fight off viruses. I mean they all only do good things, right? Sure, somc are tried and true and well tested and some are 60/70% effective and are so experimental you can't even sue if they give you side effects (like the Corona vaccines) but you are a fool to question them.
It's also just a coincidence that we have had a massive explosion of autoimmune diseases over the last few decades. Conditions caused by viruses that your body essentially malfunctions and starts attacking itself because it is confused and thinks it is fighting a virus. Don't question these things because if you do you are a loon. Don't question that many people feel sick, run fevers, and have other side effects from the vaccines either. That's just how nature intended it.
I'm not opposed to vaccines at all. They are miracle drugs. That said they are extremely powerful and not created equal. You shouldn't just get every vaccine you can just 'cause. It's almost as crazy as just putting yourself on antibiotics every time you cough. Your body is an extremely complex chemistry set and while there are absolutely times it needs help to heal or prevent illness you should be careful before shooting yourself full of drugs or vaccines. Look at each one carefully and make an informed choice.
As to Corona I don't see a need for me or my family to get one. My wife and I are healthy, in our 40's, with no co-morbidities. We also may have already had it and don't know. My kids are also the same. My 83 year old Mom got it because she is high risk and I am glad she did, as did my Sister that has asthma and other co-morbidities in her 50's.
Use your brain and make informed decisions about your own health and quit worrying about everyone else.
