"Influenza Vaccination Linked to Higher COVID Death Rates"
bullshite!

quote:

...seasonal influenza vaccination was correlated with lower COVID-19 mortality—including one that found regions in Italy with higher vaccination rates among elders had lower COVID-19 death rates.
From the actual study: "We found a moderate to strong negative correlation (r = -.5874, n = 21, P = .0051), meaning that where there were higher influenza vaccination rates, less deaths from COVID-19 occurred."

quote:

“The results showed a positive association between COVID-19 deaths and IVR of people =65 years-old. There is a significant increase in COVID-19 deaths from eastern to western regions in the world. Further exploration is needed to explain these findings”
Wehenkel's comparison noted GEOGRAPHIC population variances, not IV-to-NonIV variances within those populations. HINT: China, NoKo, and India vastly UNDERREPORT infection deaths. Western Hospitals (and the US in particular) have an orgasm every time they can extrapolate a CV19 death. The reporting differences are profound.

Further, CV19 mutated to a more virulent form in Italy. The Italian subtype hit the US and EU. Virulence differentials of genetic drift CV19 subtypes essentially render Wehenkel's comparison one of known outcome observations involving different pathogens.

Meanwhile as China, NoKo, and India under vaccinate c/w the west. Wehenkel extrapolates that the presence or absence of FluVax effects outcome.

Using Wehenkel's logic, one could also establish the FluVax roughly doubles individual income and net worth.

Doctors have been studying the effects of the flu shots for decades, and it helps to prevent the flu. But oh yeah, some whacko named jcaz says…

Hey Dickweed.
I said I rarely get flu shots and didn't get Covid even with several instances of direct exposure. That's my study and also many family and friends' story. Frick the CDC.

I live in the country so I suppose that helps. Last time I even caught a cold was in work from a co-worker. Even working though colds have been far and few between.
