Well they're about to choose a black system President.
Who is a divisive race baiting piece of shite sociologist with his own Title IX issues at South Carolina. But none of that matters because he's black.
frick F. King, frick James Williams, and frick Jon Bel Edwards.

frick. That. Guy.
I hope he's enjoying his retirement because he won't get a job anytime soon.

This is liberal speak for "we will punish and publicly destroy you until you have been successfully indoctrinated".
The Greeks were the biggest legal liability on campus until the Title IX issues came to light which focused on Athletics but Greeks were named in the report as well.
Greek shenanigans are costing universities millions in civil courts because lawyers have been able to convince judges/juries that Universities should have overwatch on adults partying in privately owned buildings on their campus.

That and all of a sudden hazing has started including lots of hard liquor and kids don’t have balls to say no anymore.

Playing the race card with the lowering of standards he tried to implement while at LSU is a joke
It had nothing to do with race
The pushback was because LSU was headed down a path of open admissions like they had in the 80's which would have dropped LSU to the bottom of any tier rankings and ruined the flagship status of LSU
Attracting any top faculty would have been futile

This benefits nobody. Sure, you can bring in 1,000 "holistic admission" students, but when 85-90% of them aren't enrolled by their third semester, who did you actually help?
The attrition seen between year one and year two is already surprising. Why make it worse by filling the school with kids who aren't prepared or qualified for it? It has nothing to do with race.
you speak the truth but boy do those Freshman enrollment numbers look good!!
Total number of incoming freshmen....off the charts.
Total number of minority incoming freshmen....off the charts.
(Now let's see how those numbers look when they are starting their sophomore year)

F. King wanted LSU to become a community college.
It's unreal.
Look at UGA and how they've become more and more prestigious. LSU is literally doing the opposite strategy.

Again, how does this dumbass not realize telling stories like this only reveal him as a pathetically weak pushover empty suit?
Oh no the big bad LSU board ran roughshod over poor lil enlightened and smart me and I never said a word. I just did what they said.

“I call it the Monday night massacre,” Alexander said in a wide-ranging interview this morning on the radio show Talk Louisiana with Jim Engster. “It violates university policy, accreditation standards, to have a small number of board members—without the others knowing—that they had worked out a deal and … were paying him substantially more than we were paying Alleva …. I had never experienced anything like it in 20 years as a public university president. To replace the athletic director without myself or anyone on my staff knowing about it is quite an extraordinary intrusion into university governance and shared governance.”
Because everyone knows you're a fricking joke and didn't want you to do anything to tank it.

Alexander also suggested the outcry against one of his most significant and controversial actions—to allow a holistic admissions process that would remove barriers to access for low-income, mostly Black and Hispanic, students—was rooted in a racist culture.

So people didn't want to lower admissions standards based on pigmentation. Whaaaaa

There are colleges that can suit their needs better. If you're a black kid who scored a 16 on the ACT, maybe you should go to Southern. There's nothing wrong with that.

F this guy.
Incompetent buffoon that got his just desserts by getting fired from Oregon state. All of his pathetic explanations for his actions and inaction at lsu just make him look even more fd up and deceitful.

He has a point here, no?
Even if he does, he said nothing, complied and went about his business until now when he's trying desperately to save himself. I don't think this helps his cause. In fact, it makes it worse for him, in my opinion. I wouldn't look once at a guy like him for a job.

These "disadvantaged" students already have lower admissions standards to get into LSU. They are at an advantage right off the bat.
And who decides which students "need" LSU more than others?
frick F. King Alexander. That dude is a sorry, worthless piece of shite. HE is the racist.

USM has a black president and he's the best president we've had in ~20 years. (Horace Fleming was better, but none of the people after him were worth a damn.)
Honestly the best thing the guy in that kind of job can do is to get out of the way.

He's a total idiot...and like a lot of y'all, I'm starting to feel some (but not a lot) of sympathy for Joe Alleva who tried to do the right thing!!!
BTW, as I told my oldest daughter, he doesn't know what a real racist is!!!!!
