By best I mean one with a good mix of fishing, skiing/ water rec, and scenery. Kicking around buying a get away somewhere...

I’ve thought about Bruin. Had fun there back in high school. Doesn’t seem to have much availability right now though

Everyone and their mama wants a place on Bruin right now. The pickings are slim

Lake Bruin or Lake St.John. We had a camp at St. John when I was growing up and we had lots of fun there. The fishing was great there.

D’Arbonne doesn’t seem very conducive to boat riding, skiing and such to me. I know the fishing is great. I need to look more at Claiborne. Both Bruin and St.John have few if any camps available. There’s a 1,000 sq ft camp on a pier selling for $425,000 at Bruin. That’s kinda steep

My dad owns a house on Toledo. We are up there all the time together with our family or just us two. We’ve made some of our best memories ever fishing out there and bull shitting on the wharf.
