Because the original crimes occurred when he was 14, I partly wanted to allow him the opportunity to repent. In part, I realized that he lived a sheltered life with little social interaction outside of his family, and that’s not the place for a boy of that age to be.
But it appears he doesn’t want to fix his life, so whatever. He should go to prison for a long time.
