I'm going another way with it (I'm cribbing this from another thread where I posted this):
I will consider getting the vaccine once I'm convinced that 100% of the vulnerable population has received the vaccination and that includes all the minority population so at risk, as well as *ahem* "recent arrivals". Until then, I'm checking my privilege and deferring any advantage my whiteness offers and decline to get the vaccination in solidarity with those underserved and historically repressed communities.

Why?
I've been travelling recently and have never had to prove I had the vaccine. Not on airlines, not in cabs or Ubers, not in restaurants or events.
