Here is a link to a Documentary of Leonard Bernstein conducting West Side Story for the first time ever.
It’s very good. I was amazed to find out that he wrote the music, but never conducted it until then (early 1980s).
Tony sung by a young Jose Carreras and Maria by Kiri Te Kanawa.

There’s a fair number of musicals that I like. West Side Story isn’t one of them. Neither is Grease or Mama Mia.
