So I did some digging. It was not after the game. It was after ump called a balk on Little.

It was not after the balk. It was right after the last out. It’s a shame this happened but it did not tarnish the game at all. There was no bias shown in the calls on the field. He may not favor Barbe. He may just hate West Monroe. Probably got his butt kicked by West Minroe when he was in school.

Anyway, Barbe had a great game plan and executed it perfectly. Just Barbe being Barbe. Congrats.

Calling things trashy is an old trope from the OT lounge. Don’t take it so seriously

I would hesitate in the future when using an "old trope from the OT Lounge" when you aren't posting in the OT Lounge.

You have used that or a similar excuse multiple times in the last 5 pages of this thread and it seems like a bit of a cop out because you got called out for it. Mean what you post and post what you mean.

The fans have no obligation to act professionally. If the umpires think that a fan is going overboard, they can have a fan removed. It’s out of line for an umpire to start talking shite back to players or fans

You go out there and do it then. Getting verbally abused for 2 hours by a bunch of people that hardly know the rules is extremely annoying. People with your attitude are why there’s an official shortage in youth sports. No one wants to go out there and get abused for hours on end and just sit there and take it.

I really don’t understand why they can’t just have posted rules that say something about no talking to or about the officials. If you do, you are removed the property.

I mean, if you’re not trashy, what’s the problem with that policy?

Looked like he was retired before the game on Saturday.

I wonder if they’ll promote Coach Collins. He was the HC at St. Louis Catholic prior to getting hired as an asst at PBS. I want to say he took STL to the championship game at some point in the past 5 years. He’s a younger coach so he could be there a while if successful.

Clearly you didn’t read any of my other posts.
I have done it and it is annoying. The umpire has two choices though, throw out the fans that are out of line or just sit there and take. Going back and forth and talking shite with fans like I saw is unprofessional and bad for the integrity of the game.

yeah he took them to the title game in 2016 where they lost to west fel.

JMC seems like the logical choice, but another at least one other former assistant may really want the job.

and Boat, on that day SLC was just the better team and made more plays. They had been in more "dogfight" games too.

You know what I mean, don’t play dumb.

Umpires should be holding themselves to a much higher standard than the fans in the stands.

That was in the bottom of the fifth man. Iowa made an error at first base too, but at the top of the fourth. Get this...Iowa's error was the first baseman dropping a good throw to first lol. Parkview's error was a left handed pitcher fielding a bunt to first, spinning around and making a bad throw. One of those two errors is clearly an easier play. Iowa outplayed Parkview that day. They got 3 hits off of Corey Theriot.
