OCS beats West Monroe last night. Tough loss for the Rebs against

Nah. OCS is a quality program. From what I was told WM was up 5-1 and went to some new guys on the bump. OCS hit the ball well and tied it up 7-7 bef
This is correct. West Monroe put in a freshman ...
We just got home from winning at Mandeville in the first round of the basketball playoffs. From what I understand WM started 2 freshmen and some other new faces today. Before the fans could get in their seats, Catholic was bouncing balls off the roof. Boat raced to an 11-0 le...
quote: ProjectP2294 Thanks Project for the great explanation.
Yes. Good stuff. At first I was a little annoyed that this thread got hijacked by the age old and played out holdback argument. But now that West Monroe is 0-2 against Catholic this weekend, I'm kind of glad it...
He was out by two feet. Wasn’t even close. ...

In West Monroe's 8-1 season opener win against Airline, Hawsey went four for four. One single, one double and two triples. We will see how he fairs against BR Catholic this weekend....
Did Pearson do it too? He’s got some pop
He did not. Supposedly, WM coaches wanted some underclassmen to hit too. And as great as Pearson is, his bat power doesn’t compare to Hawsey. ...
What's his deal? does he K a lot?
I’m not real sure. Doesn't strike out a lot. But as the Captain Obvious folks above so graciously pointed out, they are seeing something they don’t like. Which is what prompted my statement, “I wish they would take another look.” Maybe, beca...

Trey Hawsey 1B/OF West Monroe

Watched LA Tech verbal commit Trey Hawsey last night in the Bayou Jam Home Run Derby. He hit 17 home runs in four minutes. The next closest was three. Then in a 3 inning jam he hit one 400 feet in the first inning and then had one in the second inning go over the foul pole. Wish LSU would give him ...
St. Aug and it’s not even close. They have produced 34 NFL players. Second place is Ruston at 18 then John Curtis at 14.
West Monroe has 14. I am 90% certain there was a guy from the 1970's that played for Seattle but I can't remember his name. If I'm right, he would make 15....
But that’s not what caused it to get heated. Barbe coach told every West Monroe player, “Take that!” in the handshake line after the game. West Monroe coach called him out and Barbe coach got hot. ...
I am from West Monroe. So what? I also think Kling gets pulled to fast also. But like I said. Jones' bat is too good to leave him out of the lineup. It's a great problem to have. ...
This is patently false. Pearson has been given plenty of opportunities to earn more playing time. He’s had 97 plate attempts this season.
How many in a row with our being yanked?...
Pearson and Kling as the corner OF
This! Absolutely this. The reason RF has been a struggle all year, is because no one has been given the chance to get comfortable at the plate. They strike out or popup and they get pulled. Let Kling and Pearson play without fear of getting pull...
