Definitely agree with that one there.

I was just busting your chops...

Too many good choices that I want to eat, so I'm looking for reasons to vote at the time I vote. New takes on childhood favorites, creativity, and whether I want to eat it at that moment. Your's definitely checked multiple boxes.

Funny thing is, I made beef stroganoff and that is another dish that definitely looks beige and bland, traditionally. I actually made mine the way I did in order to make it more appealing.

I almost disqualified because the noodles almost seemed to be a side appetizer, but then I realized that the noodles are used to stab the meatballs (only works if meatballs are tender) and adds a textural element when eating. Genius. And I can cook this.

Maybe I should have reinforced this point a little more.

Did everyone in that thread end up getting a downvote? That's dedication.

Darla Hood - Trio of Noodle Desserts.. This totally blew me away. I like creative entries, but it also has to look like something I truly would eat and enjoy. This nailed that.

Jax-Tiger - Beef Stroganoff.. So glossy and beautiful.

HoustonChick86 - Pastitio.. Had to Google what this was, as I had never heard of it, and now I want to make it for myself.

Everything looked great. The pad thai, MD's ravioli, and the lasagna very honorable mentions.

I just want to say that I'm surprised nobody did a variation of mac and cheese.

MeridianDog - Beef Ravioli

Btrtigerfan - Crab and Tasso Alfredo over Spinach Fettuccine

NOLAGT - Crawfish Boil Fettuccine Alfredo

kudos to all who participated. One thing I've learned over the dozen or so challenges I participated in ... each of these meals would cost $50 per plate and take many hours of prep and cooking. Definitely a labor of love shared by many

Fifth grade behavior is what it is. The downvotes are meaningless. I don't know why anyone pays attention to them. The downvoter may have a lot of time on his hands, pun intended.
