Are you out of your mind ? The 'Drama Queen Patrol' can't believe the game is being played in the first place. How can football go before people's safety ?
The whole point of moving it up is because of the impending 'contraflow' i.e. traffic nightmare.
Can't have it both ways. It would be wonderful if there were 92,000 and players who were red-shirting this season stood at the gates with big buckets from Home Depot collecting money for potential victims and everyone lit a candle at the end of the third qtr and sang the 'Barney' song.
May be 55,000 to 60,000 tomorrow.

It would be nice if one of the following were a possibility.
A) Fans that can't / choose not to go can get their tickets to people in Baton Rouge.
B) If the ticket office would sell additional tickets after the start of the game to BR residents who can go; if the stadium is only half full.
C) :Insert your idea to fill the stadium:

yeah the biggest problem is that theres going to be a bunch of people that arent going to go, and its not that theres no one who wants to go, its just that its short notice, so they probably wont sell them/give them away.

keep in mind that 80% of season ticket holders live within a 30m radius of the stadium and many more people will be given tickets now.
Considering an LSU ticket is worth hundreds, your stupid if you think 40,000 people are just gonan sit on their money. If the Athletic DEPT wasn't so greedy, they would let it EVERYONE without a ticket after the first quarter just to fill out the stadium.

Not gonna be the same, I understand teh reasoning, but still think it sucks major arse. I'm leavin my humble abode tomorrow night just not have to deal with BR traffic.
btw, for those who think ppl aren't freaking out you shoulda seen Burbank and Lee at around 3:15, it was ridiculous ... the minute that game got pushed up it hit everyone and people began freaking
Quite simply I think we'll be lucky to get over 50K
