re: Where can I tailgate?
Posted by bengalbreaux on 10/22/15 at 9:34 am to The Ostrich
Setting up my own - Distance is the problem. Like I said, coming from out of town and driving in from about 9 hours out and not knowing the rules, times to set up, etc. you could see where it might be easier to join than create. Thanks though.
Everclear - my turn with Everclear and it's many cousins are long gone. But I paid my dues...LOL Thanks
Damn Strong - this is what I was looking for. I used to have a few crews that we met up with but have lost touch with over the years. Thanks again

Where can I tailgate?
Posted by bengalbreaux on 10/22/15 at 8:26 am
Coming in from out of town to the game against the pigs in Nov. Being from out of town, I've never had a specific crew I would hang out with but had either family or friends there to introduce to so we could hang out and take in the tailgating. Won't know anyone this time and want to show my friends a good time in BR. Any suggestions where we can tailgate at that welcomes all?

I ordered and spray painted the LSU letters in my buddy's yard. Look at my profile pic, this was the test run I did in my backyard. Only a $100 bucks

Agreed....there are greater names behind Les than ahead of him.

There are some great names on this list. But I am hard pressed not to believe that Les deserves to be ranked higher than 11th:

there is absolutely no logical argument for retaining crowton
I agree. BUT for the sake of conversation, what if he over achieved with less?? What could he do with a fully loaded team? I assume that if Les was going to get someone else, he would have done it by now? You tell me
Crowton working with Zach
Posted by bengalbreaux on 1/11/11 at 5:44 pm
No more excuses. A QB with the talent and some experience will be there and the OL, WR & RB will be loaded or at the very least solid.
Next year will tell us if it was Crowton, JJ, JL or Miles that keep this offense from scoring? I think it was JJ doing the best he could but just not being able to get to that next level the past couple of years. Three years ago it was the lackor leadership on the OL. Here is to JJ keeping us in the game. It could have been worse, just ask Michigan.

We have earn our right to be on the list. But a couple of things, we all know that sportswriters are bias to their area and LSU, unfortunately, does not have that perceived "Hollywood" lure that the USC and the FL. have of the world. Which ironically enough was given to them by sportswriters. Just my two cents but I'll take tailgating in BR and football in Death Valley at night any time. :geauxtigers:

Why doesn’t it count if we beat a ranked team if they were ranked when we beat them? College football is built on emotions. When we played them they were ranked as if they were ranked and the media ranked them. This one of many issues for ranking teams in college. Maybe it is the lose we gave them that started their descent out of the top 25??? North Carolina and Florida were both ranked when we played and beat them both. That makes 5 ranked teams and more than anyone else this year.

I had to stop listening to that show years ago. They are delusional. I hate the pigs and love beating their arse to listen to all of the excuses they have as to why they lost. This one kills me, ever heard them say that LR is one the toughest places in the nation to play with 65k people "right on top" of you. :rotflmao:

Made my vote and look at the map to see where everyone is voting. I live in AR. and it showed 1 vote made but it showed it for Taylor Martinez. Just makes you wonder how accurate it is or maybe it is not instant and takes time to talley the score?? Just a little FYI :geauxtigers:

He was pissed and he said I thought we were going to wait until the AR vs. LSU game? My other friend, knowing what he has planned for me, said that the stencil would be about even with what he has in store for me. So I say, "Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez" :nana: :nana: :nana: :dude: :dude: :dude:
Do you "Tiger Bait" the mentally challenged?
Posted by bengalbreaux on 10/3/10 at 8:49 am
Just a question, we did not for the record Tiger Bait him and I would not consider doing it to someone like that but it did bring up a fair question. We were eating breakfast at a local dive here in Arkansas when through the window I see a TN fan, a man (27-30 years old) in full TN gear from head to toe, walking alone towards the restaurant for breakfast. At this point, I do not notice his handicap. I tell my daughter if she will Tiger Bait him when he walks in, she can have unlimited chocolate milk instead of white milk with her breakfast. I knew that would do it. When he walks in, you can obviously see that he is mentally handicapped to some extent. My wife rightfully so aborted the mission. But that leaves the questions, do you Tiger Bait a mentally handicapped person?
I can see it both ways.
First; Hell no! What’s wrong with you? Do you want to go straight to hell? And on the other hand, as a true fan myself; I understand what game day is and what it is to be a fan in the SEC? I can only assume as a true fan himself he would love to be treated just like everyone else.

I stenciled by buddy's yard, He deserved it!
Posted by bengalbreaux on 10/3/10 at 8:28 am
As promised; I stenciled my buddy’s yard with the purple and gold LSU logo. I told those interested there would be pics, so here they are. Quick story line: we told my buddy to come to my house to watch the game, since his Hogs weren’t playing. When he arrived at my house my wife told him we had just left to the liquor store. I had gone to the store earlier in the day and bought the booze so when we got back we wouldn’t blow our cover. We were waiting around the corner from his house and my wife then text me the order, ”Geaux” when he arrived at my house. We did it in 17:31 (including pics). We came back and watched the rest of the game with him and laughed every time he said something negative about LSU. It’s funny I missed the first play of the game…

If I were him I would retaliate by putting red dyed agar in your pool in just the right concentration to make it into red jello. Pre-mix agar, and agitate into pool with a portable drill with a paint mixer on the end. You would be SOL on damage control, out side of draining and refilling.
Note to self do not tag your yard next time in BR

That is where I have been cutting it lower so the logo sould stand out. It is starting to green up again. Funny, he asked me about 2 weeks ago why I was cutting it so low? Told him just trying to keep it tight for winter...LMAO
