We cannot put pressure on the QB if the LB's cannot execute basic pass coverage for the short-intermediate passes.
.............Miles gut check time...

From a programmatic standpoint, this game and the UGA game are HUGE for detemining the state of the program.
Of course winning or loosing means more from a game only standpoint, but the ability to make critical adjustments will be highly important, and possibly more important than the actual outcome of this particular game.
Does he realize that it is more than playing "tough-nosed Tiger football" and that scheme adjustments to the LB and DB coverage are essential?
Will he seek to outplay the opponent intelligently with our strengths and learn that trying to "out-cute" them offensively is not a sustainable programmatic approach, especially with a young freshman QB?
Big things will be learned in the next 2 games. In fact, HOW WE PLAY AND THE ADJUSTMENTS MADE, more than whether we win or loose, will be extremely important to our Tiger football future..
If he makes needed adjustments from last week and from the last 1+ year of poor pass defense schemes, that will mean that we will all "HAVE A GREAT DAY" and more improtantly preserve the GREAT Program status
Lets do it Miles !

Last week poo poo's your inference in a big way. Scott was not given the chance to be the man, and it pissed me off

I sure hope this is not true. They should be burning the midnight oil and the playbook they employed last week in prep for Spurrier

but these two DC's don't have a clue
and that is an understatement...tey are beyond clueless. This is Tepper caliber incompetence

Glen Dorsey singled out McCray as on of the young up and comming guys that will make a big impact going forward.
I love Dorsey, but he has no idea what he is talking about if he said this. What this means to me is that McCray is very likeable and has good leadership skills and Dorsey admires him, and without consideration for this ability, he hopes that McCray will be both a key leader and a key player. Miles is probably walking the same thought process.

The butt kicking was inevetable; you have to loose sometime
statistics does say so, but in this case you have to be really stupid to think that is why we lost this particular game.
Our pass defense is pathetic and Tebow is the last QB you want to face. Our pass defense is really, really bad, and that is why we lost - not your statistical inevitability theory.
That is just so weak.
We could not blitz Tebow once they got the momentum and maintained good field position, as they were then enabled to throw the ball and spread the field, which disallowed us from blitzing. Tebow lit up our defense and would have even more if we bltized from that posture becuase he is such a great and quick decision maker.

It's practically a home game for us when we go down to NOLA and it helps out the city
That doesn't help the LSU area merchants in BR, so no it is not the same just cause the crowd partisonship and/or distance factor...similar for the fans, but not for LSU and its area businesses

I have heard zero comments from Miles to instill confidence that he will doing anything different. Check the "average of 32 points given up to BCS teams" stat, and Spurriers offensive approach, and tell me/us why you think Miles will make the right adjustments? He can't do it with motivation cause that is not the issue. How will he make the players better able to execute?

yep

This is not an anger issues. That can help, but will not fix broken pass coverage skills and poor coaching of pass coverage.
