Very good movie and an interesting premise. Rosamund Pike is uncanny in pulling off such roles akin to what she did in Gone Girl. Having Peter Dinklage is a bonus.

I will not take your opinion seriously on movies.
That movie sucked and u
I never hated a protagonist as much as this one.
Worst movie if 2021 so far for me.

Wasn’t that bad.
So it worked, You were supposed to hate her.

Movie board - come up with a new idea. Everything is just a reboot

Also movie board - anything that is not a comic book movie is the worst movie ever

Satisfying ending, so I'm ok with it.
Without that ending, it would have sucked.

It wasn't great but it wasn't horrible. The premise could have been done so much better. For some odd reason, I give movies that have a great premise done poorly more of a break since if nothing else I am entertained by what might have been.

It was an entertaining movie. Was rooting against her the entire movie, she finally got what she deserved.

Great premise and first half of the movie.
Second half was terrible and went off the rails in a hurry

I enjoyed all of it but the whole random look mom I'm a competent ninja now. They could have gotten where that were going without that.

Was entertaining enough to watch. Like most Netflix movies tho, they’re original ideas, start off great, but at some point either go off the deep end or just fizzle out without any depth.

I've noticed this to. There have been numerous movies and series on Netflix that caught my interest initially but like you said most of them wind up coming off the rails at some point.

I guess it is getting harder to come up with original stuff that is good, there has been so much done already now its probably hard to come up with an idea that hasn't already been tried

This past year has screwed everything up. Some movies releases are postponed or not even shot. Streaming services put new stuff on hold and new season are delayed. It may be best to come back to this board in about six months.

no

the movie started off great, and it had some real promise but it went south and never recovered

the rawr girl power super lesbian bit was bad but having her become some evil genius was awful. I looked at my wife and asked her “are we supposed to be rooting for these two now?”

as far as the plot holes, they were too deep to ignore

I am glad it ended the eay it did, it was fitting

I thought it was great. Knowing that there are professional grifters out there at this very minute running her game IRL practically makes this a horror movie, much in the vein of Unsane.

Dinklage looked like a sawed-off Jack Dorsey with that beard.

Eiza Gonzales is a smoke show, and has been since Baby Driver and that mascara commercial where she has the raccoon eyes.

This may have been the first time I saw Diane Wiest play a character I didn't want to choke through the screen.

Dianne Wiest was grossly underused.
The subplot of Dinklage being a human trafficker was tossed aside.
The con-women suddenly becoming stealth hit-men didn't work.
Pike being a calm, savvy, and decisive con-woman who suddenly cannot comprehend the obvious danger around her was ridiculous.
Dinklage forgiving Pike for torturing his mother was ridiculous.
The ending sucked. We should've experienced more schadenfreude from her final punishment.
